It was terrible. The hostel situated far from the center. It was supposed to be better for that price!!! We were afraid to go far away from the hostel as the door was easily opened without the key!So we had to take all our luggage with us. Breakfast was poor, as well. It consisted of tea/coffee, bread and eggs.

The people were friendly. No hot water for two days. Rooms smelled strongly of marijuana. Dirt and stains everywhere, evena warning about mice. For this price, I've stayed in incredibly nice places - this had to bee the worst. Just horrible.

Excellent location and staff, comfortable bed. The hotel is a typical Dutch house - as per my Dutch partner. Nice and warm room, could leave the window open in December during the night. We loved the stairs - very narrow and bit challenging - again, typical Dutch. Stay in the hostel if you have a good sense of homour and/or like to try out something different There is only 1 bathroom for too many rooms. It was a bit tired and was kept as clean as possible.

The only good thing about this Hostel was it was close to Rembrantsplein which has a lot to do to get you out of the room. A lot. The beds were slanted and worn out. It was extremely noisy every night from outside and the other rooms. The woman could speak some English but her husband could not and they were no help when we needed help finding public transport, using maps or calling taxis ect.

Location and the price of course. There was no solid door to the bathroom, just a curtain. No air conditioner on the room so on hot days, you will find it hard to sleep in some of the rooms.

The location is excellent, it's right in the center of the city, surrounded by lots of bars, the breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful and kind. It is a budget hotel, so it has shared facilities and the room is kind of small and very modest. I expected to find something terrible after I read some reviews, but it wasn't bad at all, both the room and the bathroom were clean and the value for money is good.

Excellent location. Privat shower and toilet are advantages as for central location (a lot of central hotels in Amsterdam have no any privat shower and toilet - only shared for such money). 1. Very bad facilities in bathroom - the shower doesn´t work correctly. 2. it smells something in bathroom. 3. There is night club near the hotel (next door) and it was very loudy till the middle of the night.

Staff is good and cooperative. Breakfast was good. Height of room where we stayed was very short, I banged my head against projecting beam twice. Staircase are too narrow and too steep. Bathrooms are shared by too many rooms at different floors.

the location which is in the heart of the city centre the price is too expensive for a palce like this, it's impossible to walk on the stairs, the toilet is just one for more than 4 rooms and is not very clean.

The hotel has clean and pleasant rooms, all with a TV. Most of the rooms have an private bathroom. The rooms without shower are cheaper. You share the shower with only one other room.
