Breakfast was Good :), Location as it is 3 minutes walk from Ams Central Station. Smoking rooms needs renovation, they are Basic but OK, my problem is I have seen other rooms in the hotel and I know there is a huge difference. |

We were upgraded to an executive room which was spacious and very clean. It overlooked the central station where we had plenty of transportation options (i.e. rail, bus, city tours, canal boat etc.). Breakfast was expensive but there was a beautiful cafe next door where there were plenty of value for money options. |

Best location, excellent receptionist will help us a great vocation at Amsterdam. Bit expensive restourant was really pretty for one dinner. really expensive breakfast wasn't so good as at nearest cafe. Big line at check out and one more transaction from hotel which is wrong. |

Concierge was fantastic, they could not do enough. The hotel being so close to everything and so easy to get to meant there were never any problems late at night and the bars were very nice too The rooms were a little old fashioned |

I found the staff very helpfull the bar area was very relaxing and not over priced I booked two rooms one double and one single the double however had two twin beds and not a double as requested |

Reception desk staff was friendly and helpful Breakfast was quite poor for the money required. One morning for more that 40 minutes the bacon was missing and nobody check it to refill. Tomato offered were not washed; I've cleaned mine with a napkin... Not goog for a 4 star hotel ! |

The conceirge was very helpful from the beginning through to the end of our trip. They found us a doctor for our daughter and even got us to the appointment as well as helped us navigate Amsterdam with kids! The check in was a little curt and it was obvious from our reservation we had kids with us, but the staff was still "surprised". |

The hotel is not too small to make one feel clautrophobic, nor is it too grand to be lost. The same thing can be said about the staff, they were helpful without being patronising. The room i stayed in was superb, very spacious with, with two wide beds, plus a separate area with a large sofa and two comfortable armchairs. perhaps having to go through two lifts to get to my room may be considered incovenient, but by no means a deterrent. when the sun shines the room is very bright, but at night, it's somewhat dull. |

The service (staff) was excellent, the hotel's restaurant and lobby bar really nice and cosy. The room was really big and on the whole, I liked it. The room was a bit noisy at night (I could hear people running in the hallway and slamming doors, listening to music, etc.) and I think the rooms could be more soundproof. For a light sleaper like me, this was a bit of a problem since I could not sleep properly but was waken up many times a night... The bathroom could be renovated and I did not like the fitted carpet in the room. |
