Very friendly and helpful staff giving the hotel a very relaxed atmosphere. The bar is also a very comfortable and relaxing area. And I had an absolutely excellent steak for dinner. Do not be misled by the name Amsterdam. It is a long way from the city and there is no convenient piblic transport. The taxi cost me 70 Euros one way. |

The coffee in the lobby. Very old rooms (size was good). Carpets are not very hygienic. Window could not be opened. Only the terrace door. |

Spacious well furnished room, beautiful view across the lake just behind the hotel. Our stay would have been perfect if the bathroom/toilette was bit more clean - the slide door for the bath tub might need to be replaced rather than try cleaning though. |

The price was ok, just 70 euro's for one night. Also the size of the room, its really big. It needs updating badly, old furniture, dirty carpet, and a fire alarm that kept beeping. |

Very little. Probably the nearby lake was about the only positive feature. Dark and dreary reception and bar area with loud music. Generally run-down accommodation, not clean. First accommodation offered was totally unacceptable, and the alternative was only offered at an additional cost of 30 euro. Poor breakfast - not even plain unflavoured tea was available. |

The hotel did not provide a complimentary internet access station, instead demanding Euro 8 per hour for internet access though private PC. In addition breakfast was excessively expensive (Euro 20 per person) |

Our room was palatial and very comfortable with a sitting area and a small kitchenette. The hotel was very close to the motorway (and very convenient for Schipol airport) but there was no noise from traffic once the door was closed. The bar and restaurant were of a high standard and comfortable. |

After 4 nights : Breakfast quality / huge room (even if old fashioned) / very pleasant lake view / balcony or terrace on garden / motel / price / 15' from the heart of Amsterdam by the highway / You can rent boat or bicycle Noise of the highway (outside room) / restaurant not always open, but you can eat at the lounge / Some few rooms looks toward the car park so ask for "lake view", |

Our room was exceptionally large for Europe. It had a small kitchenette and a loft so you could sleep 6 people. Breakfast was good. It is right by the autobahn so the traffic can be noisy. |

Zeer grote kamer. Balkon met mooi uitzicht op de Vinkeveense plassen De kamers moeten dringend gerenoveerd worden. De vloerbedekking was erg vies. De trappen (buiten) zijn nogal gevaarlijk: geen leuningen om je aan vast te houden; gemaakt van staal met gaten erin, waar je met hakken niet op kunt lopen. |

Chambre spacieuse. Deux grands lits d'une personne. Grand bureau. Salon contigu. Frigo dans la chambre. Hôtel qui ne vaut pas plus de deux étoiles. Travaux routiers aux alentours et accès difficile. Parking en très mauvais état. Devant les chambres, planchers en bois très bruyant lors du passage d'autres clients. Moquette très sale et pleine de trous de cigarettes, alors que c'est un hôtel non fumeur. Très petit WC séparé, inaccessible pour une personne corpulente. Petite salle de bain en piteux état : robinetterie pleine de tartre et qui ne tient pas. Aucune possibilité d'ouvrir une fenêtre dans la chambre. Infiltrations d'eau à l'arrière de celle-ci et rideaux jaunis par l'humidité. Connexion wifi très chère (10 euros pour une heure). Animaux : 20 euros par jour. Hôtel à déconseiller, malgré le bas prix proposé par booking.com. |
