Very little, only the location being close to the Van Gogh Museum The room was incredibly small (not shown anywhere nor mentioned) our entry door did not open more then two thirds of the way because it hit one of the 2 extra small single beds in the room. The bathroom was located in a former closet. There was no place to put our stuff as the room was tiny and there were only 2 small night table with single drawers in the room. The breakfast was small, gross because served in dirty environment. |

Its location, it was very close to Museumplein. Although I mentioned that I wanted especially "a doublebed room" during booking, they gave me 3 single bed room, and mentioned that "this is for my benefit". Then she gave me a room, which was full and in a building which was 8 blocks from the main hotel. I had to go there with my luggage and came back to the main building again. The hotel overall was not clean at all. No cabinets to hang your clothes in the room, no soap, no hairdryer, no TV remote control (the TV was very highly placed, you only can reach it by climbing a chair)...These are the basic things a hotel room must have... |

Very bad mattress, light bulbs in the bathrrom blew on day 1 and never got replaced, Wi-Fi was useless and kept cutting out, staff seemed bored, unattentive and uninterested except the breakfast guy, could hardly open the door (wardrobe and bed got in the way), 1 terrible pillow (was more like an old sofa cushion), noisy neighbours (in the hotels rooms, and the nearby buildings). Didn't seem newly renovated, no cold drinks to buy at reception, breakfast room was not 'bright', food was very poor, and flatscreen TV's were too small to watch from across the room. Was not in the heart of Amsterdam at all. |

I chose this hotel because of its location, but, when I arrived & stayed in this hotel, it was really nightmare. I paid 69 euro per night and I booked one month earlier, However, the room is half-underground, dark and very noisy because it is just at the side of crossroad. My wife and I can't sleep at night because of big noise from the road. The room is a twin room (2 small single beds). When I asked the staff to help me to change a double room. She just arrogantly said no other room available, and she even didn't say sorry. The room is small and not clean with bad smell & mosquitoes. The staff is very impolite. |

The room was clean but very small. The location was good. The tv did not work (it was not fixed although we told that to staff) and the window of the room gave to corridor. |

The hotel is close to the city centre, affordable, and breakfast is included in the room price. As far as I can tell, my room has not been cleaned during my stay. Also, the room was very small, which was no problem for me, but might be for e.g. elderly people. |

Is near to the city centre This hotel is really, really expensive for the quality that they offer. (rooms under the reception, rooms without window, bad smell....) |

The location is excellent, few blocks away from Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and right on a canal. The facilities are basic and the room was very small but we went in only to sleep and shower, so it was ok. Bathroom is extremely small. |

was close to the centrum. bathrooms were new.staff were helpful Rooms were much too small especially for three people. breakfast was light on fruit and yougurt. hotel main lobby and eating area were not very clean--a little cleaning especially coming into the hotel would improve the looks. windows needed to have latch to allow them to stay open and not flap in the wind |

The rooms were clean and the price was reasonable. Our room was very noisy making it almost impossible to sleep at night. The hotel needs to invest in sound proof windows for all ground floor rooms facing the street. |

I took it because there were no more options and I was running out of time to select a hotel. I read the comments made my the other guests and was expecting the worse, but it wasn't "that" bad. The rooms are small, and the price was high but I heard that's the case in Amsterdam. Is just a good option if you're going only for sleeping at night. Still, my room had a nice modern and clean shower and the bed was ok. The location is a very good one There was a lot of garbage outside the hotel stairs -not a very good first impression- and next morning at 7:30 they had run out of milk and cereal for breakfast and it took ages until somebody finally went for more. They could also get a small toaster for the bread -don't think that's a lot of money...- My room had a closet which had a whole at the back, also, not a very good impression, it would be best if they just take it out, then at least there would be more room |

Very convenient and has a nice view of the canal. Within walking distance to many places of interest. Although renovations were being done during my stay, I'm sure that once finished, it will attract more clients. Breakfast is included and starts from 7.30 a.m. to 10.30 am. Unfortunately by 9.00 a.m. all the eggs were gone and no refills. For those coming in late, they will have to settle for just cold meat. |

Staff very helpful. The location was ideal, very handy for tourists.Internet free to guests. Space was very limited. Nowhere for guests to relax to, due to small hotel rooms |

Not a lot. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were polite. Excellent shower. Not very clean. Smoky. Entrance steps littered with cigarette ends, some thrown by hotel receptionist. Cigarette ends, piles of pigeon droppings and litter on window sill. Sweet wrappings left under bed. |
