Those who already know hotel 't Voorhuys can confirm that our slogan is justified: we combine 'everything fine under one roof'. We offer an excellent hotel, a spacious grand Café/restaurant, small and large conference rooms, and a cinema. You will feel at home in 't Voorhuys, especially when you stay for a night or more. The hotel is located in the centre of Emmeloord on a large market square with plenty of free parking around. The shopping centre is practically at our doorstep. Emmeloord is an excellent base for a visit to the Batavia Shipyard, the Batavia outlet centre, the Orchid Farm, Urk, Schokland, Giethoorn and the nature reserve 'Weerribben'. The hotel has a spacious bridal suite and 24 double rooms with bath and/or shower. The rooms are equipped with telephone, TV and toilet. The hotel rents bikes and has parking facilities for bikes.

Our restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience. Our chef recently won an award for creative originality during the cookery competition "Smakelijk Flevoland". That our kitchen crew take their jobs seriously is perhaps most clearly reflected in our menu.

Our grand café with sun lounge and terrace is open all day. It is a comfortable space that tempts one to enjoy coffee, drinks, lunch and appetizers. Coming from Amsterdam, follow the A6 direction Almere, Lelystad to Emmeloord. Take exit 14, turn left at the end of the exit onto the 'Hannie Schaftweg'. Take a right at the second roundabout, onto the 'Randweg', and turn left at the traffic signs. You are on the 'Nagelerweg'. Continue till the end of the street, at the crossroads go straight, take a left onto the parking lot. You are now in front of the hotel.

Coming fron Steenwijk follow the N331 to Emmeloord. After the viaduct (A6), the 'Marknesserweg' changes into the 'Lange dreef'. Follow this road till the second traffic lights, and take a right. Then take a left onto the parking lot and you are in front of the hotel.
