breakfast quite good. dissapointed overall with what was supposed to have been a de- luxe room.Dated and tired decor, sink badly scratched. Did'nt think it was worth what we paid although it was clean. Bath water actually looked yellow! Would stop again as ideally located for the pupose of our visit. |

Nice hotel, friendly staff, good beds, very good breakfast buffet. Short driving distance from theme park "De Efteling". Within walking distance from Waalwijk city centre. Absolutely a hotel to visit again, when in the neighborhood. |

The employees are very nice and polite. They were really kind. They should have adaptors for the plugs. When I requested it, the answer was "we do not have adaptors because the guests usually take them away". My suggestion is: advise the guests that they should return the adaptors when check out, and if they do not return them, they will be charged eur 10,00/adaptor. |

Spacious bedroom and bathroom, tea/coffee facility in the room, free parking, nice decor in the hotel (except in the bedrooms that really need refreshing as well as the bathroom). Kids friendly and 5 mn drive to Efteling. Very slow service at the restaurant, althought you have to book in advance (therefore the restaurant knows how many people will be dining) there was only 2 staff for a full restaurant (1 taking orders only, so not very efficient). The restaurant wouldn't serve the kids first so a big mess as it took from 7:00 when we were seated till 8:40 when we finally got our meals, the kids were fed up and so were we ! The food was ok but by then we were annoyed therefore didnt'enjoy as much. |

We used the hotel as a stop over between France and Denmark to visit Efteling (the amusement park). The hotel far exceeded our expectations. Very spacious room and bathroom (as big as many of the French hotel rooms), a breakfast buffet as it is supposed to by. Not more than 10 minutes from the amusement park |

The hotel was very well situated with respect to Efteling. We were also pleased to be able to benefit from the late night shopping (walking distance from the hotel) - shops open until 20.30 every Friday night. Good hotel for families (eg. very good children's menu). Make sure you reserve the restaurant if you want to eat there - apparently they get full very often. |

Quiet, friendly staff, dinner menu is excellent value for price (portions are a bit too big & make sure you reserve a table!), breakfast, value/price Interior and rooms are very simple and impersonal. However, everything is clean and convenient. |
