Located within a quarter mile from the Denneweg and Noordeinde shopping area, the Hofvijver, the Binnenhof (Dutch Parliament) and Mauritshuis, the easyHotel Den Haag has a unique concept with simply...

- Unsafe neighborhood at night - A lot of noise at night - Very bright room at night - Fire alarm system problem (again and again) - The room heater does not work (staff was informed several times, but have not fixed the equipment) - Breakfast on the roof, a tent, extremely cold
The hotel is located in the centre of the city - and that is perfect. There is an elevator - and that is also good. The room is quite spacious. We lived on the 1st floor and had a terrace, that was quite a surprise :)
Terrible smell and carpets in the corridors!!! Though the rooms were renovated a few years ago (as I assume), the corridors were left as they are. The carpets on the 1st floor have aweful stains and you can imagine the smell of mould and dampness... aagh WiFi is quite slow, though stable
Decent wifi was the only good thing about this hotel.
Breakfast served on a the roof outdoors in a freezing cold tent - it was -2. Room and hallway smell unpleasant. Uncomfortable bed, dirty carpets, noisy. Only source of light in the room is a clinical "strip" style light on the ceiling, no bedside lamps, soap dispensers in the bathroom unworkable. Staff bored and disengaged. No way is this a 3 star, I have stayed in backpacker hostels with better facilities than this.
breakfast outside in a tent, very poor hoice
Very clean Simple Location
Carpet everywhere (and often not in good shape). It's practically a building site. Smelled like food. The breakfast is in a tent on the roof. The breakfast ist very mediocre.
Bed was lovely, as was the bathroom
lack of baseboard (skirting board) detracted from the room; tv over the bed did not work; sitting area was not well lit
Outside breakfast in cold and rain!!!
affordable hotel rates
Staff cancelled my booking eventhough I clearly noted in my booking that I will come on the day we intended to stay at the hotel
Good position regarding the city center.
Hotel is run really badly and attitude of the girls at the reception desk was hopeless. There was no breakfast served at hotel, even it was in my reservation. Explanation was too bad weather, as breakfast was planned to be held outside.... In the Hague, at the end of October!!!!!!! Second thing that heating was not working in my room, so it was really cold. I even was afraid to take a shower at the morning, how ice cold the bathroom was. When I announced the problem at the reception desk, I was promised to fix this problem during the day. Of course, there was anything fixed when I came back at the evening. There was another girl at the reception desk, who hadn't heard anything from the previous one. This one was rather kind, by answering that she understands my problem, and confessed even more that she has received the complaints also from other rooms about the same problem. Unfortunately, she explained, she was not in charge of the heating system and probably next morning somebody could fix it. Needless to say, that there was anything fixed also during the next day. So, may stay for three nights in this hotel was in this very cold room, and they couldn't provide me anything instead, as hotel was fully booked. At least, they said so, even though it didn't look like. Above all mentioned inconveniences was the attitude of girls - indifferent and impolite.
Most if reception staff were friendly, big rooms, close to stations
In a very dodgy area, noise from staff, other guests and moving furniture all through all 4 nights- barely slept, breakfast is in a tent on the roof- freezing and cold food.
Breakfast was supposed to be included but was not provided due to "renovations and bad weather" (!)
Great friendly staff. Gorgeous women on reception. Easy to find from train station (10 min walk), comfortable bed. Excellent wifi. Very clean.
Despite having double glazed windows everything from outside was so loud, and it was like that all the way through the night. I actually had to get uo to check the windows were closed. I couldn't understand it. I had a terrible sleep.
Close to everything and very quiet at night, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was good most of the time, not ffantastic, but fair for the price.
I liked everything including being in China Town, which had a different atmosphere.
Bad service. Poor staff relation. They appeared rude at times. No breakfast served for two days in spite of room paid with breakfast. They reasoned out that it was due to bad weather. Not acceptable. Management should have had back up plans.
The rooms had everything you may need for one night and good wi-f- reception
The whole accomodation is nothing special and don't expect the staff to "go the extra mile" for you. No carpet in the room (but perhaps better because I'm not sure it would be clean). The first-floor rooms facing the front were full of light because of the hotel sign and the curtains were 100% inadaquate (I could they they were put together from left over pieces of cloth!). Consider this if you have trouble sleeping in a room full of light.
Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable room. Breakfast on the roof with a view.
Good restaurants nearby
The breakfast room was a tent outside, with wet grass carpet. Not good for leather shoes at the start of the day.
I hired standard double room. It was euro 251(all taxes incl for 3 nights). The room had 2 LCd tv, large almirahs and was spacious to keep 3 large suitcases withouct causing any obstruction in movement. . The breakfast is inclusive and I like the breakfast in the morning(that's from 7:30 Am till 10:30 AM). The hotel staff is courteous and extends help if needed. The location is excellent. It's in china town, walking distance from Den haag centraal station and HS.
Breakfast in a tent is quite novel! You could leave your luggage there after checking out, which can save you dragging a suitcase around town. Location is really excellent.
For the money there's very little to complain about.
Location is very good, near to the Railway stations (Central and HS), chinese restaurants are very close and provide good and cheap food.
Room is small, poor wi-fi, water in crane is not too hot and small water pressure, hotel requires restoration, the hotel is under construction works.
The room was left open by the maid
Quit satisfied overall. Would stay here again. Breakfast was very good and varied. Including english bfast, continental, fruit, different bread, croissants, cakes etc etc. Sleep was very good. Would be much better if the tiny bits are improved.
Air condition in the room was not working, to be honest i did not complain about it to the reception. Wifi connection in the room was ok, but slow at times. Room cleaning service was not bad but was left without soap twice. Requested a single double room at the booking, but was given a twin room.
The curtains were letting the light through, and so our room was not dark at all --> we couldn't sleep well. Small but confortable bed. The rooms are small. The hotel is currently under work, which we didn't know upfront. Someone entered into our room at 9.45 for 'cleaning service' which woke us up... We asked for a compensation but the manager refused. I do not advise this hotel.
Great value ,location friendly reception
Breakfast in marquee
Nice staff, clean rooms, good beds, standard breakfast. No more Chinese food. Excellent value.
