The Hotel Emma is a small and friendly hotel, perfectly situated in central Rotterdam - just a 7-minute walk from the Central Train Station. It benefits from free Wi-Fi.
Score from 592 reviews Very good
the internet speed was great - than in many hotels. Great location - not far from the main train station and really close to trams and metro.
The room was a bit too cold and loud
Good location, good night's sleep, great breakfast, staff are friendly, helpful and efficient.
Smoking in the garden with nice black cat
Too short visit...
Our room had everything we needed for our short overnight stay. The 2 metre long bed is very comfortable. There's an excellent breakfast buffet, missing nothing!
The standard room is very small but it didn't bother us as our stay was very short.
Hotel easily accessible by public transport, staff welcoming and very pleasant, rooms comfortable, and local bars & restaurants are only a short walk away
Nothing - which is why we've stayed here four times
Excellent room, good size with fridge and seating area. Convenient, clean and comfortable.
Steep narrow stairs. On two nights noise from people on the terrace outside kept us awake for hours.
Beautiful building and dining area, very friendly at the main desk, pretty and large and comfortable room. The location was excellent as a place to explore all around Rotterdam, Delft, The Hague, Leiden, and Amsterdam!
Only struggle was wifi in and out but could have been my iOS 8 troubles!
Staff Bar and garden Breakfast Location
Staff were very helpful especially when we had a flat battery and the waiter was able to jump start us off his car. Excellent breakfast. Walking distance to old Rotterdam and museums. Parking for car behind the building .
Great location, near the City Centre
I booked a room for 6 days. The hotel offered me to stay for the same price in one of their two bedroom apartments. It was a great place: nicely equipped, tastefully decorated and with some old charm.
The staircase I had to climb. But it was a fair price to pay for staying in an old Dutch house :)
Very good location near the museums, the Maas and within walking time of the city centre. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The isolation from one room to the other is not great.
The room we stayed in was basic but comfy. The breakfast in the morning was very good. There was so much to choose from. Staff were friendly. Wi Fi was excellent. Used the car park which was cheaper than parking outside hotel. A lovely hotel for the money we paid.
It seems that the walls were paper thin as could hear the people next door in the toilet, shower and their TV. Due to this noise I didn't sleep well at all. Everything else in the room was basic but comfy.
Very good location, 20 minute walk from station, or could use public transport. Rotterdam walkable from hotel. Very good breakfast, helpful staff, good restaurants close.
our room had an ornate plaster ceiling, a beautiful mantelpiece and a balcony overlooking the street. We hadn't expected anything like this in Rotterdam and we liked a lot.
Location - close to many restaurants and central station Breakfast - good variety Cleanliness Wifi Aircon - when we moved to one with it Staff moved our luggage to new room when we were out.
Arrogant man at check-in (only with me, not my husband though) Room without air con - arrived late afternoon (36 deg C) after riding the bicycles 80km from Breda to find I had booked a room without aircon. Booking.com lists hotel facilities as having aircon, so one should be able to presume that means aircon in the rooms. When traveling in summer take care when booking your room unless you don't mind sleeping in your own sweat! Don't book a standard room, book a comfort room. When we asked for a fan a token "look" was done to find one, which of course was never available to start with. We were there for 2 nights and when we asked to upgrade, they told us there were no rooms avail. Checked Booking.com and whilst there were none avail for the first night, there were 4 avail for the 2nd night but it was not offered until we insisted.
Excellent hotel! Looked after us well!
Staff were very helpful.Food was excellant. Transport Really convenient.
The location is close to center, quiet location, very good breakfast, comfortable rooms
It was impossible to turn on the air conditioner or repair it.
This place had everything I needed: refrigerator, optional air conditioning, free Wifi, a garden, etc. Plus it was located in an interesting neighborhood within walking distance of several nice bakeries and a grocery store. Access to transport was also ideal! I would definitely stay there again :)
While Wifi was free, it was very slow and occasionally unavailable. This would be my only complaint.
Central, good staff, good facilities and secured parked.
This felt like a small, old European boutique hotel with modern benefits like fabulous wifi and plenty of hot water. Our room was lovely and spacious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. There were a couple front desk temporary technical glitches--e.g. room key coder not working--but these were soon resolved and reminded us that we weren't staying in an anonymous chain hotel. Highly recommended!
Basic but correct for the price. Good mattress, clean room and bathroom, TV small but OK. Many radio stations. Quiet, except drains when rooms higher up flush toilet.
Breakfast relatively expensive. There are better alternatives nearby (such as Wester Paviljoen). Stairs very steep, but there is an elevator.
Very helpful staff. Room was small but totally equiped. Nicely decorated. Excellent value.
Staff are very friendly
