The staff were very helpful & courteous, there was a problem with my room safe which was sorted quickly. At breakfast you were offered how you wanted your eggs cooked. A nice touch. |

The breakfast was a great start to the day and the location was great. Easy walking to several tram stops and Mr. Ho even carried my very very heavy suitcase up to the 3rd floor for me. The only thing lacking at this establishment is a lift... but like I said, Mr. Ho was more than helpful. I will recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Amsterdam! Great value!!!! |

The location of hotel is good, easy to approach by tram way fm train station, close to mesume. Staff are nice, room clean & warm, breakfast included, and pleased to see their is a hot water boiler and hair dryer in the room, which is good for winter. The room is quite small, but considering the charge, you cannot give too much complain on it. The only thing not very good is they charge 'commition fee' if you pay by VISA, which I have not such experience in other European hotels. |

The 5-10 minutes walk to main museums, large room with balcony (which we did not use as we were in Amsterdam in winter but I think it should be wonderful in summer). The footsteps of people leaving in the room above ours were heared and unfortunately there were late (1-2 am) in the 3 nights of 4 we spent in Washington hotel |

The hotel was entirely adequate for my purposes, which was to provide a base for a week's stay in Amsterdam My booking confirmation warned me that there would be a 4% surcharge if I paid by credit card. But when I arrived I was told that the surcharge would also apply to debit cards. If I had known this before leaving home, I could have saved some money. |

good breakfast, friendly staff with excellent local advice noise from rooms above- a little. Old fashioned decorating and tired paintwork, chipped etc. I did not like the notices up about people in your room, etc, this was unecessary I felt, and made it feel like a boarding house. Could do with tea in the rooms- there was a kettle, however, and hardryer |

Gie, one of the owners, was extraordinarily helpful (he even let us use his computer for free!), and for that reason I am reluctant to say anything negative about the hotel. He truly was a gem of a guy! The location was excellent, the breakfast was very good. Upon checking out, the other owner charged us over 11 Euro for 19 local calls that we were told by Gie should be free, even though we explained that we were having trouble figuring out our Dutch calling card, and that only 2 of those toll-free international calls were actually placed. We thought this was pretty petty. |

Hotel desk? Two to figure this gentleman, is the owner? I was impressed and very friendly. When I arrived they already had a reservation list. The hotel does not have an elevator. It was the 2nd floor in my room for my bag gave me. ^ ^. I can not speak English well. Nevertheless, staff asked the translator to use .. Deep enough so that guests may care guys. Museum within walking distance to a good location. Hotel next to the tram to insist in one place to another. And when you're in Schiphol Airport's near the bus stop, when you reminded us. This also goes to Amsterdam and then to choose ^ ^ I think the staff really friendly Unfortunately, payment by credit card, and 4 euro's points will be added. I'm also having a credit card somewhere else, right? Credit card fees for customers like me feel. I hope you use your credit card has been activated. When I next visit I hope you're using your credit card. |

Very nice and helpful staff, nice and very clean room, big and new bathroom, yummy breakfast. Great! Maybe only the stairs, which could be a problem for the elderly people, but this kind of stairs is common in traditional Dutch houses. |

The location made the city of Amsterdam extremely accessible to the guests. The tram was located on the adjacent street, though the hotel still felt very tucked away amongst the locale. The owners make the stay a pleasurable experience, and were very accommadating to the needs of their guests. |

The hotel was in a quiet area, close to bus, Van Gogh museum, restaurants.Gourmet restaurant around the corner! (Le Garage). Staff (owners?) very friendly, helpful, spoke English. Great breakfast included. Would highly recommend this hotel. Stairs were steep, no lift but staff carried our bags up for us. We had a huge room with an enormous bathroom. Nothing. |

The staff were friendly, the hotel was convenient and good value for money. The breakfast was also good. The area was quiet and in a convenient location for museums, transport and restaurants/bars. Although there was a kettle, tea/coffee making fascilities would have been good. |
