The location made the city of Amsterdam extremely accessible to the guests. The tram was located on the adjacent street, though the hotel still felt very tucked away amongst the locale. The owners make the stay a pleasurable experience, and were very accommadating to the needs of their guests. |

Hotel staff was very helpful. Hotel was situated in the old Dutch house, in the beautiful neighbourhood, close to the museums and city centre. The room was very small. |

The hotel was in a quiet area, close to bus, Van Gogh museum, restaurants.Gourmet restaurant around the corner! (Le Garage). Staff (owners?) very friendly, helpful, spoke English. Great breakfast included. Would highly recommend this hotel. Stairs were steep, no lift but staff carried our bags up for us. We had a huge room with an enormous bathroom. Nothing. |

The staff were friendly, the hotel was convenient and good value for money. The breakfast was also good. The area was quiet and in a convenient location for museums, transport and restaurants/bars. Although there was a kettle, tea/coffee making fascilities would have been good. |

We stayed in the 3 persons apartment. The apartment was spacious enough. The location of the hotel is convenient without being in a noisy area. the matresses were of a good quality. The terrace is a plus, especially in good wheather. Good sellection of TV english chanels. We didn't like at all the carpeting and the upholstery of the sofa in the living room was appaling. Lighting was very poor. The appartment is at the top floor and there is no lift so I would not recomend it for eldely famillies or famillies with babies or todlers. |

The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the hotel (which also offers apartments, which we chose) offers good basic accomodation in a pleasant secure residential area convenient for musuems and the centre, but well away from the seedy side of town. Our apartment was very spacious and had a small balcony as a bonus. We enjoyed our stay but the hotel is very tired and furnishings probably date from the 70's. Not a big problem and this is fairly reflected in the price but it is best to book with well managed expectations. The hotel also charges a surcharge if you want to pay by debit/credit card. This may be fairer than simply increasing the price across the board but worth knowing in advance |

Quiet in house and neighborhood yet close to transport and parks - attentive staff. It is a good small hotel. Don't expect a brand name sameness or not to climb stairs, or rather stay away if that is what you want. |

The appartement was huge and comfortable and the staff was really helpful. The breakfast a nice start for the morning. I especially liked the furniture. Stairs are high and narrow, but it is usual for any Amsterdam house. |

The hotel staff was great. Incredibly helpful and generous. There is no lift and they carried my bags up and back down 3 floors of very steep stairs. The breakfast was terrific. Very helpful on good restaurants in the area. |

Great staff very helpful, breakfast was simple but ample, wireless internet in the rooms, hotel is in the museum district which is nice and close enough to the center. Close to bike rental, or tram stop to take to center. Over all enjoyed my stay there would stay again. |

location was safe & quiet room in the cellar, windows at street level, dust/dirt blew in, ceilings too low, no fan. hot, no circulation, bug bites from something, too many rooms sharing a bath. Stomping overhead in morning from 8 til 11 am. WiFi did not tho was a stated feature... |

Nice staff and a good breakfast. We got several tips on what to do from the owners. Close to the tramstation. I think some of the rooms has been smoked in. For us that was i big issue. Steep stairs, but i guess that is how old buildings are in amsterdam due ot the hight to the ceiling in the rooms (are at least 3 meters). |

Leidse Square Hotel is ideally located in a quiet residential area and only 3 minutes from the lively Leidseplein. You will be in the heart of the city and stay in a spacious room. |
Hotel Prins Hendrik is situated in a typical Dutch building in the heart of Amsterdam. Explore the city from this central location and have a free breakfast buffet each morning. |
Friendly hotel in the center of Amsterdam. A historical canalhouse on the Keizersgracht, on one of the most beautiful canals near the Rembrandsquare. |
Alp Hotel is a small and charming hotel in the west of Amsterdam. Benefit from the public transport facilities near the hotel and sit out on the lovely terrace. The hotel rooms are bright and cosy. |
