Good and quiet neighborhood. Very close to all the major museums Nice and clean rooms. Recently renovated and a nice bathroom
Breakfast. Seemed like very low quality (unhealthy) continental breakfast. Good hotel just don't eat breakfast here. Go out and find a juicebar, bakery or so. There are plenty nearby.
Good location with close proximity to a tram stop and nice and safe neighborhood.
The staff were very nice and helpful. However, we were disappointed when we were not provided a place to change clothes (We were totally wet due to the rain) other than toilet on the day we checked out.
Items went missing from room whilst my husband and I were sleeping. Staff were rather unhelpful although manager did try to help by searching other guests rooms. Hotel has keycard system to rooms and front door so I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions
Staff was not supportive and also not guest friendly
Bathroom relatively new and very clean as was the room. Helpful staff. Excellent location for museums. About 30 minutes to walk into the centre.
Hotel as a whole seems a bit run down. Furniture in room worn down. Too expensive for what it is. Couldn't get phone calls connected through to my room.
great staff, very friendly and helpfull!!! big room, great position!!!
wi-fi not included
the location was really great, nearby the main museums. The room was really clean. I didn´t have a plug for my phone and they gave me one and let me keep it
They were very nice and polite.
The location was central for my visit.
The lights in the bathroom did not work for either day over the vanity mirror. There were old dirty socks behind the radiator. There were old sweets under the bed and bedside consol table. The room was not cleaned properly - rings from tea mug not wiped down etc. Other hotel guests smoking pot continually. Someone walked into my room at 0210 in the morning with an electronic room key without knocking and then walked straight out again. I would never contemplate staying at the hotel again.
the shower room. stayed in many hotels on this trip and this was the first shower I could turn round in. at 13 stone I am fairly normal size. so the rest of amsterdam and paris need to sort out the cramped conditions in shower rooms.
the stair case very steep and with big case bit of a struggle.
The room was small and everything looked like it hasn't been updated since the sixties. The bed was very worn out.
The hotel was in a great location just minutes away from museumplein. The area was lovely with loads of good bars and restaurants. Trams into the centre were just at the end of the road and we found it easy to walk into the centre. The room we had (family) was very spacious and was adequate for what we were looking for. The breakfast was very good.
Overall if the price had been about half what it was, I would have strongly recommended this place. The hotel in general was in need of modernising and needed a coat of paint and some tidying up, it was really quite shabby for the price we were paying. There was nothing exactly wrong with it, it was just a bit run down. The lights in the bathroom didn't work properly and the bathroom needed updating. However everything was clean and housekeeping was a good standard. If decorated and brightened up a bit this could be a lovely hotel. The stairs have been mentioned a lot! We were on the 3rd floor and found the stairs manageable and quite a feature! They are quite vertical though.
The reception staff is nice and welcoming, the rooms are well equipped. The location is really good, a very friendly and calm neighbourhood, and you can reach the central station within minutes by tramway. Definitely would stay there again.
Steep stairs! But the staff is willing to help you with your luggage.
Quite & conductive environment. Good shower
Paid WIFI! These days it is a necessity and could be included in the room price if one has to. For two days the house keeping was not completely done. No lift while the stairs were too steep.
Location Staff Clean and spacious Rooms
Cleaner than what we expected, but we had low expectations to start with.
The staircase... but all Amsterdam buildings have the steep and high staircases and the receptionist helped us with our luggages. Wifi is not free... 곰팡이냄새가 조금 나요
Did the job. Comfortable and close to the action!
The room was comfy.
You pay for wifi. You pay for breakfast. There are a lot of narrow steps to reach the top floors.
Location, size of room, helpful staff.
Staff is very helpful,Good location.nice and clean hotel Value for money
It's a beautiful area and quite. The reception was nice and helpful.
Lots of stairs if you're staying in the small rooms with shared toilets and bathroom. The shared toilets wasn't too clean!
Comfortable bed and nice staff
Lots of stairs other than that not much I didn't like
Location is very handy, only 10 mins on tram to city centre, 5 mins walk to Museumplein and Albert Cuyp market. Lovely quiet area, nice big room on third floor, very clean, comfy beds. Would stay again
No lift and the stairs are very steep, especially if on 3rd floor, as it's an old house. Bit noisy on stairs/landing during night when other guests are coming in.
The staff is quite robotic and spits their lines without letting you speak, witch can be disturbing at first. Communication is not great since the hotel is actually separated in three hotels, accessible from the outside. The phone line did not work, even when you ask for it. It is too bad because they have a great place.
