Hotel Washington

Estivemos no Hotel Washington no final de setembro, e ficamos em um quarto privativo, que fica na verdade ao lado da entrada principal do hotel. O quarto era bem espaçoso, tínhamos nosso próprio banheiro, com banheira e ducha, e nossa própria cozinha equipada, que foi muito bom para economizarmos dinheiro na viagem. Além disso a localização é excelente pra quem quer um local de fácil acesso, em uma área bonita da cidade, próximo a muitos pontos turísticos, próximo aos principais museus, parques e comércio, mas longe do burburinho noturno dos bares do centro.

Simpatia e disponibilidade dos funcionários. Localizado no centro de Amsterdam, perto de tudo.

Um elevador dava jeito pois o acesso aos quartos é impraticável naqueles dias em que chegamos com um copo a mais. Demasiado ingremes. Instalações sanitárias para todos os quartos.

O gerente foi super simpatico, atencioso. As acomodacoes eram boas. So nao gostei do fato, de que no quarto nao havia banheiro. Achei meio inconveniente, porque voce ta pagando mais de 100 euros pela diaria

The location made the city of Amsterdam extremely accessible to the guests. The tram was located on the adjacent street, though the hotel still felt very tucked away amongst the locale. The owners make the stay a pleasurable experience, and were very accommadating to the needs of their guests.

Hotel staff was very helpful. Hotel was situated in the old Dutch house, in the beautiful neighbourhood, close to the museums and city centre.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. Freshly cooked eggs were a nice addition.

The staff were friendly, the hotel was convenient and good value for money. The breakfast was also good. The area was quiet and in a convenient location for museums, transport and restaurants/bars.

Although there was a kettle, tea/coffee making fascilities would have been good.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the hotel (which also offers apartments, which we chose) offers good basic accomodation in a pleasant secure residential area convenient for musuems and the centre, but well away from the seedy side of town. Our apartment was very spacious and had a small balcony as a bonus.

We enjoyed our stay but the hotel is very tired and furnishings probably date from the 70's. Not a big problem and this is fairly reflected in the price but it is best to book with well managed expectations. The hotel also charges a surcharge if you want to pay by debit/credit card. This may be fairer than simply increasing the price across the board but worth knowing in advance

Quiet in house and neighborhood yet close to transport and parks - attentive staff. It is a good small hotel. Don't expect a brand name sameness or not to climb stairs, or rather stay away if that is what you want.
