Staff are really friendly! The rooms were great, very clean and spacious, with our own facilities. The breakfast was fab; fridge stocked with meat and cheese etc and fresh bread delivered every morning. The hotel is in a great place for the Leidseplein, which has some good bars. There is some noise from the bar below and the trams running up and down the street, however, you kind of get used to it and we still slept. The stairs are quite steep so you need to care on them!

Great breakfast!!! Loved it!!! The stairs. But i guess this is a general problem in Amsterdam. And the helped with the suitcase. Just ask for first floor

Really quirky and individual hotel, very comfortable, clean and friendly staff. They bring you breakfast in bed too! (They leave bread etc outside your door and some milk, yoghurt and cheese etc in your fridge - so no worrying about getting up in time etc). PLus they have a Nespresso machine which is a nice touch. Good spot with transport links and plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby as well as the museums. It is above a bar and the road outside has a tramline - we didn't find it too noisy at all but can see why some people would find it a problem. They give you free earplugs which helps!

Very comfortable, large and cozy room with all amenities, including a fridge full of drinks and food. Cute balcony (I was lucky, not all rooms have a balcony!) Very close to the happening Leidsenplein area. Very noisy. My room was just above a pub, where people have drinks on the sidewalk until middle of the night. (I would suggest double windows, that's the only way to kill noise from outside; the earplugs that were provided are useful though).

The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Having a little kitchenette in the room, with minibar stocked with breakfast provisions, was perfect for my daughter and I (much more relaxed than having to go to a formal breakfast room). The fresh bread basket delivered in the morning was great. It's a great location, in a vibrant area of the city, so very convenient for dining out, theatre, bars and clubs (which or course are open late, so, if you like a quieter room then I suggest requesting a room on the upper floors). A great stay all round. Thanks! Nothing really, the only negative for me would be hearing the music from the bar if you're on the first floor, but this is to be expected if you choose to stay in such a lively and convenient area!

I really liked its unique character and home like feel. I had a very spacious and yet cosy room with a fair view. I was glad that I could open the windows to bring in some fresh air unlike my previous hotel stay at another place which had the windows sealed shut. I would definitely recommend Weber although I would advise to anyone looking for some peace and quiet to ask to have a room on the upper floors because my room was above a bar which was noisy until about 2am. The breakfast provided was great and plentiful. I even had a spare sandwich for lunch! The noise from the bar below my room on the first floor.

The hotel weber is a great place to stay, excellent location and a great value for the price. The staff were extremely friendly and the room was very comfortable. The room we had was on the third floor it had a small balcony and a view of the street. The bread basket they give you each morning is a nice touch to making the stay more enjoyable. There is a bar beneath the hotel but the floor we staying were on we did not hear any noise at all. I would definitely stay here again.

Unusual hotel, strange on first impressions, very steep narrow staircase as typical in these old buildings. Not suitable for people who find stairs a challenge. But taking this into account, you will not be disappointed, I stayed in no 7 on the top floor, which you will get if you ask for a quiet room. Spacious and clean, with a large wet room. Very clean, a comfortable large bed with two good pillows each. Tea and coffee area, plenty of choice, with delicious coffee. Breakfast is a feast, they leave you croissants, rolls and bread every morning outside your room. There is cheese and meat slices in the fridge, along with orange juice and yoghurt. So lunch is not a problem!. Staff are charming and helpful, I know Amsterdam well, this is not always the case. Two problems, you are staying in the party area of Amsterdam, with many night clubs and bars. Though on the top floor where I stayed as I requested a quiet room, it was not too bad. Only problem was when the Sugar Factory night club lets out at 4.30 in the morning it is a bit noisy if the window is open, but there is double glazing and this stops the noise. The stairs will always be a problem, and would have been impossible if you have any kind of disability. Remember to not leave the room without your key, the door shuts behind you. I know this from experience!
