We'll be back! WestViolet is like a home away from home. It's comfortable and quiet with a little balcony, sitting area, tv, WiFi, access to computer, great shower with hot water. The queen bed was very comfortable (not 2 singles pushed together). We enjoyed the self-service kitchen that our host stocked with our requested breakfast foods. Very good location with easy access to shops and restaurants. Our host was available and helpful, but not intrusive. Looking forward to staying here again next time. Leaving.

The room was generous size, tastefully decorated and very clean. The owner of the hotel was very helpful and friendly. We have enjoyed a copious and varied self-service late breakfasts. Very central position with lots of places to eat/drink, Complimentary wireless high-speed internet access provided. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would defiantly consider booking there again. Modern clean room in good location not far from Anne Frank House. Felxible self service breakfast and pleasant owner/host. Steep stairs to get to kitchen and first floor rooms (but stairs typical for many old amtserdam houses)

We found the proprietor friendly and helpful and the accommodation clean and comfortable. The extensive choice for the self service breakfast suited us beautifully and we were able to have a snack at other times too. The location was very quiet and yet close to the city sights.

A great little place in the heart of the Jordaan area, one of the nicest parts of Amsterdam. The owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. The ground floor room is quite big (at least compared with most hotel rooms in Amsterdam) very well appointed (it helps if you like Marilyn Monroe) with a very comfortable bed and a good shower.

We really liked being able to help ourselves to breakfast whenever we liked. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we might like to eat and drink. Our host was friendly and welcoming and the room was spacious and well equipped. We also enjoyed the neighbourhood--quiet, but convenient to most attractions. We liked just about everything about WestViolet. Our only very small concern was the rather poor lighting in the room.

West Violet is perfectly located in the Jordaan District, near a laudry- mat, restaurants and bars, and 2 big grocery stores. Walking distance to the centraal city, about 7-10 minutes. The facility was calm, great, clean, very safe and very welcoming! Full equipped-kitchen, where you can cook your lunches and suppers if you dont want to eat out. Great breakfast! Free wifi and laptop as well. I highly recommend West Violet. Frank was an awesome host! I would definetly go back again!

Could'nt fault WestViolet at all!! It was so nice to wake up when you want and then go and help yourself in the kitchen for breakfast!! Frank was so lovely too!! WestViolet is alittle Gem!!

Frank was an excellent host. Plentiful DIY breakfast choices. Room was spacious with en suite and a small but attractive balcony to sit and enjoy the sun.

Out host Frank has thought of everything. The room was spotless with a small private garden area where you can enjoy the evening sunshine. There is a kitchen / dining area which is stock with cheeses, hams, tea, coffee, bread, croissants ... and you can help yourself whenever you like. Excellent value for money The stairs are steep but you soon get used to them, don't let it put you off.

Great little place! The owner is really nice and super helpfull! The place is lovely and you can get tickets for museums without having to do the big line up! La localisation est parfaite, Frank est vraiment très sympathique et son bed & breakfast est vraiment hyper charmant. La petite cuisine self-service est super pratique et permet de se sentir un peu comme chez soi. Vous pouvez vous procurer des billets pour différents musés au bed & breakfast et par le même fait éviter les interminables files d'attentes!

We love the wonderful and warm accommodation. It's a home away from home. Such a cozy and quiet place in the city center of Amsterdam. You can really relax after a long day stroll. The owner, Frank was very helpful and friendly. We'll surely stay again in B&B West Violet if we travel to Amsterdam again.

Die Lage des Bed & Breakfast WestViolet ist sehr zentral, man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen. Im Hotel an sich steht den Gästen eine voll ausgestattete Küche zur Verfügung. Man kann sich ein Frühstück selbst zubereiten, ist nicht an Frühstückszeiten gebunden. Der Tisch wird liebevoll von Frank, dem Besitzer, täglich eingedeckt, sodaß man sich wirklich nur noch um die "Beschaffung" der Frühstücksdinge kümmern muß. Es ist wirklich sehr angenehm, keine vorgeschriebenen Frühstückzeiten zu haben, das macht den Urlaub streßfrei. Der Besitzer ist sehr bemüht um seine Gäste, es gibt für auf jeden Frage eine Antwort und für jedes Problem eine Lösung. Man hat nie das Gefühl bekommen irgendwie zu "nerven" was wirklich eine sehr schön Sache ist und gleich ein "vertrautes Gefühl" aufkommen läßt. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet, mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail, das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, in der Umgehbung befinden sich zahlreichen sehr nette Cafes und Restaurant. Für uns war der Aufenthalt in Amsterdam und auch im B&B WestViolet rundum gelungen. Ich kann dieses B&B wirklich jedem ohne Einschränkung weiterempfehlen. Einfach Klasse !!! Mir hat alles super gefallen, es gibt nichts auszusetzen !!!

De persoonlijke service, bijvoorbeeld rond het ontbijt. Geen poeha, maar gewoon een praatje met elkaar. Heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt, waarbij je je in het huis van de eigenaar waant: je mag overal bij! De ruimte beneden is erg ruim en dat is prachtig. hartje stad en een oase van rust. Enige minpuntje: gehorigheid met de bovenkamer.

La amabilidad de su propietario Frank, el desayuno copioso y la posibilidad de comer y beber a no importa que hora uno llega al hotel despues de todo un dia de recorrer la ciudad Todo estuvo perfecto, nosotros estuvos en la habitacion de la planta baja y la calefaccion sobre todo en el baño fue un poco insuficiente, por el resto es un lugar excelente y a recomendar
