Location - 10 minutes and you are at Red Light District Staff was not very helpful. Sometimes they even reject my requests for printing some directions from google maps. The breakfast was very poor. The meal was pretty decent, but had no diversity. The room was amazingly small and it was hard to even move around. I had a window in the bathroom, which looked out to other rooms bathrooms so people lived there could see me in bathroom(!). Also, the building was very old, and it seems that it had no repair since.

Location - very close to central station, main street and all city excursions. Safety - when you come back at night - the road wide and illuminated. As for the other things - they are ok for this price anyway Stairs - very steep (though it's the same in others hotels) the room is very very small no wardrobe at all in the room - it shocked me first but you can live without it. And I think it will be cold in the room in winter time (room 21)

Very good location of the hotel The room was not good. At first we live at underground flour, it was awful. But we came to reception with request to change the room. And for the next day we stay at another room. More comfortable and warm.

The location was great as it was near the main sights and there was a varied breakfast included. For my duration I had to put up with either mice or rats scratching underneath the wardrobe and in the walls. At one point through the night I thought I saw one scurry across the table! Also there was mould in the bathroom.

The hotel is close to Central station, but if you have a lot of luggage you probably wants to take the bus, there is a bus stop in-front of the hotel and buses runs from Central Station, I was upgraded to a triple room, although I didn't need it, it was appreciated, The guy at the desk was really nice and didn't take deposit from me since I was in an position where my card didn't work and it was my last night in Amsterdam. For 25 Euros, It's worth it, About 5 to 10 minutes walk to De Wallen and Central Station. Quite, but probably because I was Downstairs, Clean bathroom. If i ever find my self in that situation in Dam, I'd definitely stay in this place again. The room was too damn hot, I stayed in March temp was around 11 that day, had to open the window and switch off the heater, came back 3 hours later it was still too hot, but eventually it switched off by the morning when I had to check out. Room isn't that clean, pillows.. sheets were yellow, like I'm not sure if they are dirty yellow or old dirty yellow. Electricity hub didn't work in all places in the room. Lack of tissues in bathroom but not TP.

This hotel was way better than expected. Sure it's a cheap hotel, but the beds were comfy, a big breakfast (including eggs) was included, and even a private bathroom all for a really low price. It was all very clean and maid service made the bed and changed the towels every day. Only a short 5ish minute walk to the main area so close to attractions and the station. Our room had a slight strange smell, but we got used to it and didn't notice it most of the time. The towels were tiny, the width of a foot towel and only very slightly longer. Maid service changed the towels every day when I'd rather just keep the same one and save on washing water. Also careful of the windows - ours was the size of one opening onto a balcony, with no balcony just a straight drop down. Could have fallen out if it was open but we kept it closed so no big deal. No deal breakers here for us just a few of the less positive points.

The location was good - close to the train station and city centre The hotel was not that clean, the walls were very thin and the window in my room wouldn't close properly, which meant I had to have the heater on all night (making it too hot).
