It was full of bed-bugs, extremely dirty, unsanitary, unfriendly and unsafe. This hotel should be closed down as soon as possible - people are putting their health in danger while staying there. Extremely dirty, millions of bed-bugs that attack you every night, unsanitary bathroom and toilet, unsanitary restaurant area, noisy, very unfriendly and rude staff. I suffered more than 100 bits of the bed-bugs that lead to an allergic reaction including headaches, fever and unbearable itching that lasts for more than a week. I stayed only 3 days instead of 6. Still waiting for the refund of my money. Horrible experience! Booking.Com should guarantee the safety of those who are booking through your service!

Central location was accessable to both ships and train, in addition to all local transports. Such a terrible experience after all the good bookings we have had through Booking.com. Amsterdam fitted into our itinerary at this time and as it coincided with Queens Day celebrations we justified the exorbitant price as due to the acute shortage of accommodation. BIG mistake. As a mature couple we had difficulty carrying our luggage up the 3 sets of steep narrow staircases (no lift). There were blood stains smeared along several walls and doors (most, not all cleaned after we pointed them out to staff), running taps (could not switch off), broken shower fitting. Bare room other than 2 beds and a chair and TV: not wardrobe or cupboard, not even a hook to hang any clothes. Electrical fittings broken and unusable. Restaurant it claims but it is not a restaurant, just a basic breakfast room with cereal, bread and cake, and a small selection of cold meats, and juice, tea and coffee. Bare tables, never cleaned after use, staff only came to replenish food supplies. WE would strongly advise anyone to look elsewherefor your accommodation. Probably suitable for back-packers but definately any other travellers, certainly not value for money.

Location The hotel was awful, one of the worst I have visited. It was very dirty, The woman in the reception was not friendly, we had to ask for towels. They brought us towels the next day. The furniture was garbage, the beds were uncomfortable, there was no furniture to put our clothes and shirts. we were 4 persons in a very small room.

Location is very good! The hotel is very near the Central Station (about 6mins walk) yet not noisy. The breakfast is good. The staff are friendly. Wifi is free in the room. The housekeepers opened the room without knocking the door in the morning - not once, but thrice for my 6 days stay. The second & third time did not shock us that much as we placed our luggage at the door to block it.

Best feature is location close to Amsterdam Central station - good as centre for visiting locations in and around Amsterdam. Pretty dingy decor and communal areas were not very clean. The room itself was clean and beds were fine, but furniture was very old and rather dilapidated. Tv didn't work. Our room was on the third floor with no lift and very steep staircases - difficult to carry luggage up and down (especially for more mature guests).

Very good value if you don't need to rely on the free wifi which was useless in the room I stayed in. The bed and room was clean and warm and the staff were friendly and helpful. The free wifi internet signal was so feable in the room I stayed in that it could not be used. It was the worst wifi signal that I have ever experienced in any hotel on this planet. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to rely on this hotel's wifi system for internet connectivity.

The price and simplicity was ok Breakfast is horrible and that puts it on my list never to come back. When I pay for a room with a breakfast I do it because I intent to make it as 1 out of 2 meals that day. The fact I had to eat another 2 times that day raises the price of the room by 10-15€, which is something you're not really happy about if traveling on a budget right?

No frills budget hotel.Location excellent, about 10mins easy walk from Centraal Station.Easy reach of main area`S.Facilities in room,TV,couple of electrical sockets and towels. No room safe deposit,no sink plug, couple of lightbulbs needed replacing.Bed clean and comfortable.Heating very good.Hotel facilities basic.Vending machine for drinks and snacks in reception.Breakfast good value, continental style, croissants, toaster, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, cereals, tea, coffee, fruit juice.(07.30-10.00)No bar facilities during our stay(March 12).Able to leave luggage after checkout.Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Don`t expect the Ritz but it is a good basic hotel at a good price in a good location.

I booked a single room based on the low price and location near the station and was delighted to be given a three bedded room with ensuite all to myself. It was also in a quiet part of the hotel, I believe they put me there sensitively as the hotel was full of younger people who were there for the night life. Bed was comfortable everything was clean, breakfast was substantial, it was the ideal hotel for me and made my holiday one to remember. Thankyou
