The hotel is inside the airport, so is very comfortable for those which have to wait the next day for the next boarding.

Convenient location (generally) and interesting concept and design.

Took too long to get back to the part of the airport where food was still available. Not clear how to get to Yotel from the departures gate. No signs available.

the fact that the Yotel is the boarding side (through security checks) and there are no issues getting to my gate in the morning

Clean contemporary decor. Young attendant at desk very polite, helpful and friendly. Very Comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Excellent use of space.

Difficult to find since there is little signage to indicate location, especially when one is arriving late at night--the terminal is almost deserted. Finally, after 35 min of walking around, found a passport control officer who stamped my passport and gave me directions.

I have stayed at the Yotel Gatwick before and the rooms are almost identical - with all the basics you need for a short business stay - power shower, comfortable (but enclosed bed) ample power sockets etc. the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Locating this hotel within the airport (unlike Garwick) was a nightmare - I had come in as a late arrival 9pm and had come through the arrivals hall. I then had to go back back to gate 12 which was closed or gate 24 the opposite end of the airport. Only then to q for 15 to go through passport control a walk of about 20 mins in the end - all in all 35mins of walking and waiting - not so convenient after all :-( Would I recommend the Yotel Schipol - probably not on this experience and when there are so many hotel around to choose from - sorry.

This hotels only advantage is if a traveler needs a room for less than 24 hrs...good place to hang out for 3 to 5 hrs...but an extremly poor value for anything longer

Although it is located IN the airport, it was still very small...a bunk bed situation, similar to a sleeping car on a train.

fitted in with meeting someone off a flight at Schiphol at 6 a.m. Didn't have to leave the airport

Could hear people in corridor but managed to get some sleep. Never quite sure of how to get out and back of passport/ security etc. to check in following morning and meet person - maybe a better explanation / map could be useful

No rushing to the departure gates 10 min leisure walk.

The Convenience. It is right in the terminal. The rooms are tiny, but have everything you need for a quick overnight at the airport. In the morning, just stoll to the boarding gate.

The hotel is just in the airport, so conveneient!!! And the style of the hotel is the same as Japanese capsule hotel. In the introduction of the hotel, I saw there are other branch of it, so I think I will try this hotel in other cities!

For everyone, to get to the hotel, should pass the immigratoin check point, so it is so inconveneient for those who has just single entry(just like me), I have to let the officer see my hotel comfirmation and my travel iternery, and finally the officer wrote a approvement for me to let me pass the check point. So, my point is that is it possible to make a quick pass for the hotel?

Is didn't like the fact that for over $ 100 per night for a single room you get a "cabin" that's not much bigger than a suitcase. Your check in time is 18:00 and check out is early morning. That's ridiculous. To all travelers I would recommend staying across the road from the airport at the Sheraton. For similar prices you get way better. And staying at the yotel schipol is very inconvient if you want to go out into the city for an evening because everytime you want to leave the airport you have to pass immigration / passport control, and its the same when you want to re enter the yotel. If you want a pricey bed with a shower for a few hours sleep while in transit then go for the yotel. Else stay away. Oh and by the way you get long comfy chairs on which you can sleep for free, and showers, both for free only 2 mins away from the yotel. Think about it.

Convenience within airport

Bit of hassle going thru Immigration with big bags while lane was narrow. Likewise corridor to rooms were narrow.

The location was good, staff was polite and efficient and co operative, helped us to relax on our way to U S.
