We spent in the hotel 3 nights and have only the best experience. Very good location - close to high-way (we arrived by car), close to the town center (10-15 mins of walk next to the channel), comfortable rooms, friendly staff and excellent breakfast (everyone can choose and we were always looking forward next morning :o)) ). We can only recommend.

Large room, more like a suite. All extras included. Nice bathroom. Good bar area, excellent breakfast. Loads of free parking at the hotel.

All was according to my need and to the price paid. Good internet connection, good breakfast.

The athmosphere is very good. Quiet, with parking, gas station nearby (with fair prices relative to the Netherlands). If we come to the area, I would definitely come back to this hotel. Got a big room (409). (we are young couple with 1.3yo boy)

Breakfast can be filled a bit more. Mattress is not so comfortable (my wife said same thing)

Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Helpful staff - particularly when we got lost trying to find the hotel and had to phone for directions. Free internet. Free parking. Alkmaar is a beautiful city.

It is some distance from the city centre - a bit too far to walk and we had difficulty getting back to the hotel by car with the one way system through the centre - but that maybe just us. There are plenty of parking stations in the centre. The restaurant meals are good but a little over priced compared to other meals we had in the Netherlands.

Very handy location. Can walk to the city in about 10 minutes. Modern clean and tidy hotel. Good buffet breakfast.

I have stayed here before, you can't fault it. Staff extremely helpful, breakfast had a good choice, something for everyone. Liked that breakfast was served till 11 am. No rushing about. I like to relax when I am on holiday. We had an adjustable bed which was heavenly, I could have spent the whole time lying there watching the t.v. Tea and coffee in the room, and a small fridge which is handy. The hotel was spotless the standard of cleanliness very high. Sheets changed every 2 days. Well worth the money. Would stay there again no problem.

Hotel is located in a quiet lovely place far from the noisy centre of Alkmaar. It will take you not more than 20 minutes to get the interesting places of Alkmaar on foot. The railway station is far from the hotel but the way there by bus will take about 5 minutes. The bus stop is in several steps from the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpfull. Our room was cleaned every day, the towels and the bed linen were changed every day either.

It was as described and shown on photos. No suprises at all. Nice breakfast. Friendly stuff. Very clean and quiet. Near the center (10' walking)

The hotel is only a 15 min. walk to the downtown, has parking slots free of charge and is very moder and elegant equipped. The service was perfect in all languages you need. Not ffar to the sea - only a 15 min. drive. Around the corner you can buy in small shops cheese, bread, cookies, fish and other foodstuff for snacks. A cheap tank station AVIA is only 50 m far. A 30-40 min. drive to Amsterdam makes a day trip to this big city possible. So I can only 100% recommend the hotel and location for all who wants both - seaside vacation and an old town with history staying in a nice hotel with acceptable price.

I liked this hotel very much. Comfortable, clean and modern. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was a good selection of food. Perfect if you have anyone with mobility problems as this hotel is built with disabled people in mind.

i liked the design of the room very openplan and airy feeling with window stretching the length of the room, reclining beds,air condition works fab lovely spacious shower,and bathroom,and plenty of room in the fridge for food and wide basin,pleasant breakfast always

being in the service industry myself with my own business im very aware of the most important thing to say to a client,to make them feel appreciated is to say when you check out"we hope to see you again"and it costs nothing!!

A nice experience. The hotel is easy to find (I travelled by car) , the area is nice, a pleasant 15 minutes walk from the centre along canals, staff is ok, breakfast is ok, the room is big, clean and well appointed.

The staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly, helpful and accurate with their information. The hotel was well situated on the edge of town, had free parking. The bedroom was large and with a most comfortable bed. The breakfast was first class. One of the best kept secrets in North Holland.

It is not so convenient for the station for those travelling by train.

Clean, decent rooms.

Staff generally friendly but evening reception staff unhelpful, almost rude. Customer is not 'king' in this establishment. Despite complaining tea/ coffee room facilities never replenished. Although cost included, the breakfast fare was very dull and mediocre: tasteless tinned fruit, fresh fruit not changed during stay,the quality of which was very poor. Fatty bacon and rubbery scrambled eggs. No choice of yoghurts. Depressing dining room, dead 'fresh' flowers left on the tables all week.
