Location easy to find, close free parking, WiFi in the rooms, competitive pricing, electric beds, vast bathroom, close to Alkmaar (15 mn by walk). Single rooms offers very narrow beds, but they offered double room for small fee. |

Excellent service and staff, ordered an extra bed during our drive to Holland, even that it was a very late arrival everything was set up and ready. |

The location was great. The rooms were big and quite. The staff was friendly but however not that fast in restting the table for breakfast. I expect a table to be ready when previuos guest have left the table. |

I enjoyed a relaxing dinner in the restaurant, after a pleasant stroll in the typically Dutch residential area around the hotel. My room was attractively furnished, everything spotless. Room temperature was perfect and there was no unwanted noise. Tea & coffee making facilities, plus minibar, were provided in the room. Bbc channels were accessible on the tv. Bed and pillow were comfortable. All in all conducive to a good night's sleep! |

The room we stayed in was very clean, stylish, and well equipped. My daughter loved the electronically-controlled beds which you could adjust to improve your comfort, though that wasn't a necessity for us.There was a wide choice of good food at breakfast, and one evening we had a salad which we thought was very expensive but it did taste wonderful. The hotel seemed to expect to receive a lot of German visitors, but no English, although the staff could speak English. However, just one menu translated into English would have been a help, and maybe some of the notices left in the room. We got by though! |

Modern design with old fashioned comfort. Spacious room. But why a kitchen in the room with no equipment? |

A very good idea: start with the principle that we all might be in a wheelchair and need care at some time in our lives, and build a very comfortable hotel around it - level access all round, big lift, wheelchair accessible bedoorm doors, level access shower, care facilities including panic button avaialble...this would positively encourage anyone disabled, and their carer, to go away for a few days knowing that it would be easy once there. A rather odd location in the inner suburbs of Alkmaar, but 15 mins pleasant and safe walk into town. Very slow service at dinner the night we ate there, though the food was very good and stylish. |

It was a well layed out hotel with everything a guest staying there could want, the staff were helpfull and friendly. We would recommend this Hotel to our friends. The Entance could be made to look more stylish, it is just a dirty old mat on steps and not very inviting. |

Nice breakfast in the garden It is a zorghotel, does not have the atmosphere of a romantic environment. If you are there purely for a weekend out go somewhere else |

family run hotel with the clear intention to make the stay of the guest very pleasant we were only english speaking people and some stuff members had some difficulties, but tried hard to get along. The link to an elderly home is in a first instance a surprise but does not bother at all. Nice set up for older or even handicaped people |

This brand-new, 4-star hotel is located in a historical building, in the heart of Alkmaar, where it provides tasteful design rooms with free Wi-Fi internet. |
Conference hotel Blooming, situated in the dreamy dune village of Bergen in the province of Noord-Holland, is a great destination to enjoy a varied stay. |
Golden Tulip Alkmaar is a modern hotel and is perfectly situated in Alkmaar. The hotel is easy to reach by car (end of motorway A9). We offer enough free parking space. |
The Golden Tulip Jan van Scorel is situated at the edge of a vast dune area with lots of heather and forests. |
