We booked the "deluxe" rooms they were excellent, large , modern & well equipped. Very good English spoken by the staff Breakfast service depended who was working that day, one day poor second day (Saturday morning) very good |

the hotel staff the location of the hotel was not clear by the address that we've got from the website. Also the name of the hotel was not signed on the street as same as the other hotel's name was mentioned before arriving to it. |

Guests were welcomed warmly. Staff in all aspects (servers, desk people) were extremely helpful and accommodating. Excellent. Would return to the Palatijn in Alkmaar again! The only criticism of their wonderfully roomy bathrooms is that there were too few hooks and/or railings upon which to hang used towels (and/or clothes) so that they did not have to be washed after one use. |

The staff, rooms and interior generally were excellent. The rather dull and unwelcoming exterior does not do it justice. |

The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are spacious. Improve the bathroom conditions, by adding a hairdryer and a shower protection at least. |

We stayed there from Wed 12/03 until Sat 15/03. Everything we could have hoped for. In particular, the reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel and all the facilities including the sauna were clean and tidy, will go there again without any doubt. We also used the salon which was excellent too. Highly recommended. |
