Hotel Restaurant Zwanenburg  

Nothing... As a matter of fact, I felt completely ripped off. Dont go to this horrible place. and for heaven's sake dont ever give out his credit card details to him over phone he spells it out loud even when others are standing around.

There is one person running the whole show - he is the one who picks up the visitors from the airport, makes your invoice, cooks food, serves food and to top it all operates an unregistered (illegal) taxi service. Even though the hotel mentions that they have free hotel pickup starting from 5AM, he refused to do so when we asked for the service, instead he asked us to book a taxi to our drop off at the hotel. To add to out surprise in the morning when we checked out at 5AM there was no taxi but his shuttle (which was supposed to be free). He charged a whooping 35 euros for this and refused to give us a receipt.

The location is in a quiet, picturesque town about 20 mins by the free hotel bus from the Airport. The staff were very friendly. We were given a sheet on how to use the bus service into Amsterdam city and we followed these directions with no problems. Breakfast did not have a big selection but was sufficient and tasty. The room was comfortable, the bed was big and the pillows to our liking. To our surprise our standard room had a large, 2 person, spa bath with very effective jets. This was very relaxing and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. We normally have short stays in Amsterdam at one of the Airport Hotel. In future we will definitely return to the Zwanenburgb

the people in the hotel are so nice .

Hotel Zwanenburg is outside of the busy city. We really enjoyed walking around the quiet neighborhood. Several bus stops were easily accessible for travel into the city. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom had a very large bath tub for soaking with plenty of hot water. This is a good hotel if you are watching your budget.

It is not in the city. If you want to be in Amsterdam, this is not.

The free internet did not work. There were hairs in the sink in the bathroom. The shuttle to pick me up took 40 minutes instead of the 20-25 told to me over the telephone. There were mosquitoes in the room and cobwebs on the ceiling.

Bed was soft, lumpy, and just bad. The location is isolated from places to eat etc. Pick up at the airport took 45 minutes standing in in a cold strong wind with loud airport bus traffic. Pick up was in an unmarked van by a guy that was very difficult to understand-wondered if I had the right van. When I called for the pick up I couldn't understand half of what the person was saying-it was English-kind of. I didn't eat at the hotel because the menu was limited and pricey. Ate at another pricey place that at least had a better range of choices

Good stuff, some of them are speaking in Russian. There is a nice disposition of hotel for my business. There is a shuttle between airport and hotel. Tidy rooms.

There is no lift in the hotel..

Free shuttle to and from the Airport (~15 minute drive). Free internet and very comfy rooms. Also in a nice little town away from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam.

Its quiet cheap and have shuttles for airport. So if you have a halt for a day in amsterdam then you can stay here. Also if you like to stay most of time out of room then you can choose to stay here. If you are a homely person then you can choose other options

The rooms are too small, need to have more hygienic and some spaces in rooms. The shuttle services are good and staff are quiet helpful. But need to keep more spaces like having single rooms and for double rooms there are mostly 2 people which might have bags and all, please provide some spaces to keep that bags.

It was good, value for money!

The only problem was, hotel close at 1.00am and there will be nothing to have or drink or even buy from out side. Out side everything close by 06.00pm!!!

I liked it when I left.

This is not a good place. I reserved two nights and left day early, because it was bad. Not very clean, cold, not comfortable, horrible breakfast, and grumpy and very difficult front desk. There was a yelling match in the breakfast room between another disgruntled guest and the management, I think I was not alone in my dislike. They put me on the third floor, despite the fact that I mentioned I had a bad knee and hip. (No elevator) When I went to check out at 10:30am, they said the shuttle driver was napping and could not take me back to the airport until 1:00pm. They also demanded I go back upstairs to my room and bring down the remote and hairdryer to the front desk. When I refused, citing health issues with stairs, they said I must or they would not check me out. I called a taxi and left. I figure they owe me for the second night, since they refused to provide the shuttle that is promised. Anyway, just skip the hassle and do not book here, it is not worth it.

Nice and clean hotel, close to the airport. It was a good choice to spend the night there before an early flight out of Amsterdam.
