Quality Airport Hotel Gardermoen  

For Norway, we thought it was one of the best meals (dinner) we have ever eaten in a Norwegian airport hotel. Not a brilliant meal, but we're talking Norway here.

The shuttle bus added more than 25% to the price of the room. Free shuttle bus in future or we might as well stay at the Radisson Blu!

The friendliness of the staff , the ease of booking in and out , endless amounts of coffee , cake , fresh fruit and popcorn , the view from our room across to the forest , the ability to be able to open the windows for fresh air . The shuttle bus isn't free but that was ok . Would thoroughly recommend this hotel .

Restaurant in the hotel was excellent. breakfast featured a large selection and variety of foods.

The hotel looks bad with bad coulours and dark interior which makes the hotel boring and not nice.

Delicious breakfast (lots of choices) included in price, clean and neat room, good service, parking included in price. Reasonable price considering the country and the services provided.

The room was set for 1 person not a couple, poor view at the back of the hotel

I have no complain at all. this airport hotel provides all you need for just a stay near airport. breakfast is fruitful and many options. still if it is open for earlier would be even nicer.

we got a room which some distant from the hotel center. and the internet wifi signal there was so weak and it disconnected quite often.

Quiet, clean, affordable

We are young and don't mind a walk but if one is staying for more than one night, there really isn't much nearby--a couple of gas stations and a McDonalds. A 30 minute walk into town and there is a small mall with a few more options for food. It is located on a very nice wooded area with a couple of small lakes and great walking/running trails. We saw a wild moose just a couple hundred meters from the hotel.

Ticked all the boxes as a business hotel with quick access to the airport. Looked better than most of the other alternatives close by. Evening buffet was extensive and good value. Breakfast OK too. Nice that there is real coffee FOC in reception. Internet was free and fast enough. All good, particulaly for Norway.

Nothing to do with the hotel but the airport shuttle is overprices at 70K.

Parking charge free and good breakfast foods. Also clear to keep a room for wide space with bath. Than it is a easy access from airport by shuttle bus,but bus charge is not cheap about 77nok.

It's a hotel in an industrial park. We had to lay over, and this hotel made sense. Like most things in Norway-expensive.

Love the breakfast there. Facilities are good and very clean.

You have to pay 70NOK p.p. for the airport shuttle bus (total journey 9 mins), which is the only way to could get to or leave the hotel apart from private cars or cabs (so 140NOK p.p. for come and go). It would be better if that is offered for free by the hotel. No kettle in the room and you cannot borrow any from the reception.

Absolutely nothing... It is probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed.

We were very disappointed with the Quality of this hotel and the very poor breakfast (if you can call it that way) they offered compared to other hotels in Oslo. But the worst part was our disappointment when we learned that we had to pay $50 for the airport shuttle to take us to the hotel when everywhere else in the world is part of the hotel service when they are close to an airport. This transportation charges should be clearly mentioned in the advertising of your website because it increased the Hotel rate by a lot, specially on a hotel like this with so poor quality facilities, and ridiculously small rooms and bathrooms.

I was very tired after a 2 week climbing trip in Norway's arctic circle, and was looking forward to a good night's sleep in a real bed after a week of camping. I wasn't disappointed! From the speed of check in to the absolute luxury of a huge, clean en suite room with a comfortable bed, a lovely relaxing shower and even a large screen TV to watch the European football there was meticulous attention to every need the weary traveller might have. Along with free internet aspect in the lobby, to the very best breakfast display I have ever seen, with a staggering array of healthy food, it was a pity that I had to depart early for my flight home. Well done, keep up the excellent service and you can't go wrong.

Well there were a few rowdy smokers outside the hotel, and I had to shut the window as it was quite hot and dry in the room. but it was better to have an over warm room than be disturbed by humans, but not planes. Everyone mentions the airport bus prices, which indeed does add significantly to the overall coat of staying in the hotel. Perhaps it is about time all the airport hotels got together and introduced free transfer options to and from the airport terminal, it can only improve business, especially if longer stay guests want to visit Oslo.

Everything was as expected

No comments to offer about the need to take free parking ticket at reception. . I almost have paid twice.

nice location, nature around the corner. close to the airport. very nice service, they gave us a better room without us asking for it. a petrol station just outside with 24h open shop, and mc donalds not too far away also. very nice early breakfast with almost everything we could have expected from the real breakfast.

in room bar is expensive (44 NOK for a pepsi), shuttle to airport also expensive.

All in all a good hotel for bussiness and conferance guests. I got value for money.

La navette pour rejoindre l'hotel est très chère (environ 10 euros un aller, soit 20 euros l'aller retour). Pour faire à peine 5 km.... Chambre pas très spacieuse: avec un lit d'appoint, on ne peut plus bouger....

Vi måtte vente på rommet i nesten en time pga at hotellansatte har ikke ordnet rom for 3 personer.

Perfekt närhet till Gardemoen flygplats. Rummet vi till slut fick var stort och rent. Möjlighet att äta tidig frukost om man skulle passa ett tidigt plan fungerade perfekt.

Vid incheckning fick vi reda på att hotellet hade delat på vår familj på två rum. Detta på grund av att så många familjer var inbokade så familjerummen inte räckt till. Det accepterade inte vi för om det inte hade funnits familjerum för 4 när vi bokade via booking så skulle det inte gått att boka ett sådant rum. Vi tror att de tog en chansning med oss pga att de gett rummen till den stora tuppeewere konferens som fanns på hotellet. Efter mycket knappande fanns dock ett familjerum kvar för alla 4, det var ju märkligt.

A bit shabby, but ok - clean and the bed is cosy Our gps navigation system could not find it. If you drive there, look for the big silver star well seen from E6 as the landmark
