Beautiful antiques everywhere, luxurious room with a balcony, a short walk to the seaside, country atmosphere.. loved the experience, just sorry that the visit was only 1 night!

Its location: close to the city by car, but on the seaside. This hotel is excellent, it has a style, there is a spa if you wish to use, also. The room was also very nice, stylish, well-equiped. It was a really good choice to stay at Arendal Herregaard.

Nice rooms, excellent beds, ok food, beautiful surroundings, the pool

I found staff service poor. We asked for an early breakfast, and twice we experienced that the kitchen staff had´nt got the information from the reception. The kitchen staff however, was very nice and did their best to give us breakfast in few minutes. Also, at checkout we were charged NOK 50,- pr person more than told for dinner in the restaurant. Last, one receptionist accused us for not having left the room keys in the reception when we came to claim it. All he said was "Sorry, you can´t have them, I don´t have them here". He did nothing to help solve the situation -and when he found it ten minutes later, he had no apologies for us.

Liked the surrounding area, friendlyness of some of the staff, willingness to improve/accomodate my wishes

they were trying out a pre-season opening, so not all facilities were available (swimming pool f.i.) , this was a bit disappointing.

Rent og pent. God frokost

Villedende informasjon om frokost. Ved spørsmål fikk vi vite at frokost var mellom kl 08 og 10, mens frokosten i stedet stod fremme til kl 11.30. Hadde vi visst det, hadde stressmomentet blitt mindre. Savnet ordentlige glass på rommet.Synes prisen var uforholdsmessig dyr i forhold til beliggenhet

nydelige omgivelser, stille og rolig, hyggelig og avslappende atmosphere

sjekk skuffer / vinduskarme for døde insekter - et godt tips, ikke gå tom for ting som marmelade og melk under morgenmaten, uansett håper jeg å kunne komme tilbake en annen gang

La qualité du personnel de la réception et l'accueil.

Fin de saison, spa fermé. Toutefois, on a été averti par téléphone, donc ok.

das frühstüchk war lecker und das hotel hat flair. die lage ist abgeschieden und somit für ruhesuchende super ,aber zu etwas grösseren städtchen ist es mit dem auto nicht weit

zimmer waren echt klein aber schön gemütlich und funktionell eingerichtet

Bellissima struttura in legno, gli interni sono pregiati e la Junior Suite da noi prenotata è stata un'ottima scelta ad un prezzo molto vantaggioso. Buona la colazione e bella la piscina di acqua termale. Altro aspetto positivo le biciclette a disposizione degli ospiti dell'hotel utilissime per apprezzare al meglio i dintorni tra mare , campagne e fiordi

40 euro al giorno per la culla aggiuntiva sono decisamente troppi !!!

Aardige ligging.Typisch Noors hotel.Personeel is wel aardig maar op afstand.Om service moet je vragen zoals bijna altijd in Noorwegen.Men heeft geen "service" attitude.

Restaurant is wel erg simpel .Keuze uit 2 voorgerechten ,2 hoofdgerechten en 2 desserts.Eten was wel smakelijk
