it's one of the cheapest hotel you can get in oslo. free wifi, quite ok breakfast. good and friendly stuff.

10 mins walk from main street...it might be a bit unsafe for girls(not sure since it gets dark quite late in summer

There is no kettle in the room. You can get one in the reception,but they are usually already borrowed.

The location is quite good to find

There was no fridge in the Anker hotel and they have a bit strange lift doors which do not let you come in and out with the luggage

Nice, quiet, downtown, complementary breakfast was very good.

No free parking, got ticketed :-(

1. Excellent location - only 10 min walk from Oslo s the Central Station - couldn't be more convenient at such a budget; 2. Really friendly staff - I arrived earlier than my check-in time, and asked for temporary luggage leave. They checked their records and allowed me to check in earlier with no extra cost! Also, they upgraded me to a very spacious family room for free! 3. Amazing consideration - I was greeted with the TV in my room showing my name and welcome. Some people may think it was creepy, but I did feel it was very personal and showed their great care for the guests. 4. FREE WiFi - with so many other hotels charging for this, they kept it free as a really useful bonus for travellers. 5. Great breakfast - I couldn't help asking myself that why the continental breakfast was associated with only milk+bread+boiled eggs by some nations? ;-P From bread and cereal to cooked breakfast to fruits/salads and a variety of drinks and desserts. Couldn't be more satisfied with this price.

1. Single beds. 2. Shower and the toilet are just separated with a shower curtain - water comes out to the rest of the showering area and makes the bathroom messy.

Good location, quiet and convenient to access to public transportation, central station and supermarket. Friendly services, nice breakfast, also clean and tidy room. Worth recommend! Will book it next time to Oslo.

The rest roon and shower space are relatively small, but still acceptable

very convenient - bus and tram stops right outside great Bar Cafe Sara just round the corner nice staff, friendly welcoming loved the shower in the bathroom!

coffee was disgusting hot water not hot enough to make tea no hot chocolate I left my pyjamas behind and no one handed them in to lost property

Convenience getting in and out of the city - bus and tram stops right outside! Receptionist very helpful with advice about local bars open late. The bathroom was great, the shower was really good.

Lack of kettle in room to make hot drinks. I left my pyjamas in the room but they weren't handed in to 'lost property'.

Room cleanliness poor. Sheets not changed everyday. Blankets had hairs from previous guests. Too dusty. Bathroom no bidet. Room has poor storage facility, no drawers no luggage storage or safe for valuables

Exellent lokation, near everything and good value for the money.

The cold weather

The hotel was well priced for city centre Oslo, and met my requirements perfectly.

It is not located in the nicest part of Oslo, so might not be great for single female travellers late at night. The internet access was poor, although the staff informed me this was a service provider issue. On some days internet access was fine

walking distance from international bus-and railway-station and from local bus-, tram-, metro-stops, near the center

sometimes hard to get connected to the free wifi connection

Staff, very agreeable, location, beds and pillows+quilts:EXCELLENT. Comfy and clean.

I loved this hotel! Everything was perfect! from the staff, to the room, to the breakfast... I would recommend it to family & friends. And if I ever go back to Oslo...Ill stay in it again without any doubts!
