Fitments are modern and some design has gone into the rooms however it does not work, doors dont close, No ventilation, stuffy, noise carrys too well. Won't stay here again. One staff member was rude and unhelpful. Couldn't sleep due to either noise or hot room with no air con or ventilation.

Close to the underground station of Tøyen, proximity to the botanical gardens. Decent breakfast. While functional, the rooms are small. Hotel is located in the most 'culturaly diverse' part of the town, and on a very busy road (lots of noise). Inside, rooms look very modern but, unfortunatelly, with loads of dust in every corner of the room. Although they say they have airconditioning, you must ask, and then they will role in a big portable one that will make you feel like in an airplane. But that could be a positive, as it blocks the noise from the trucks passing by.

Surpassed my expectations in every way except the staff. While I was checking-in I found the staff very unfriendly, not helpful at all and even a bit rude. Checking-out was not problem at all. The hotel itself was great. The check-in staff was very unfriendly.

Close to station, easyt 2 stops form town centre. Close to 2 supermarkets. Functional with kitchenette. Studio room was very cramped, luckily got moved to a Junior suit, much more comfortable though could be alot cleaner. Washer-dryer machine very useful with baby clothes. Dishwasher also very practical. A bit grubby in places. Slightly tacky feel with all the black curtains/shinny covers. Towels clean but with holes in. Studio room was very cramped luckily got moved as microwave wasn't functioning. No kitchen utensils at all and told on first day that we couldn't rent (at a cost of more than £15 a day) as housekeeping had gone home (6pm). Cot bed base was not fixed and rock hard (plenty of duvets supplied but can't be used with a small baby due to suffication risks). Found 2 tv channels (Viva 80's & bbc news) Wouldn't really recomend this hotel but if you can get a junior suit or better it is quite functional/comfortable just don't expect too much (4* is a long stretch) and as norway is so insainly expensive, self-catering helps. Suggest bring your own mini-camping sauspan set to avoid the extorionate hire cost. Staff were helpful/friendly enough. Definatly an ethnically diverse area but this isn't really an issue. Also 2 min walk from Munch and natural history museum, supermarkets and metro which is good. Did share the train with junkies sharing around their pills on way back (5pm) but don't let this put you off, it was busy and felt safe though we did move the baby a safe distance away from them! Not ideal.

We really enjoyed hotel & the room was perfect. Everything was in perfect order and clean. The best thing for our family was that there was a kitchen. The room was like a perfect apartment. The only thing which we did not like is that we needed to pay about parking: 210Kr. It is too much, in our opinion

Very enjoyable stay with helpful staff. Rooms were very nicely equipped and to a very high standard. One nice touch was the fact the hotel didn't over charge for beer. Breakfast was buffet style, very good value for money and recommended. If you don't mind walking, it is only about 20 minutes from central rail station.

I liked the appartment hotel room as we were able to cook in the room , however we had to pay 150nok to rent kitchen equipment..pots, plates, forks and everything which i feel was a rip off, as it should be provided in the room already. The location was very good also, near the train. The staff were very unhelpful and unpleasant, one lady with redish hair and glasses was very rude when i asked about renting the kitchen equipment and she wasnt very friendly and made me feel uncomfortable for asking about the kitchen equipment, as if i was a nucence! I didnt like that i had to pay 150nok to rent kitchen equipment, as i feel if it is advertised as an appartment hotel room then that stuff should have been provided.. i feel that was very poor that it wasnt there in the room already.

Hotel is nice and modern. I didn't like that they chareging for parking, 210 NOK!!! Bathroom was very poor cleaned! I could see a lot of hair on the floor in bedroom which is very very bad! Maybe price was good but then again breakfast costing 75 NOK + parking 210 NOK and ++++ and then price is not so nice any more.... I dont't think so to come back there again...

We primarily chose the hotel for its excellent location with respect to Oslo's public transportation system and that the "apartment" accomodation included a balcony. Badly understaffed with very friendly and hard-working trainees. Staff's linguistic competence very poor. As for layout and design of our accomodation (category apartment; see above) it was exceedingly cramped, somewhat rundown, in so-called modern design, useless for all practical purposes during a stay at-home-away-from-home.

The location is excellent (only a few meters from the Underground). Very quiet and clean. Free WiFi in room. Great value for money - Will definitely be back. Rather small room and not very convenient for business travelling (no desk or table to work on). Poor quality of Internet. However, for the price that was charged compared to prices in all other hotels in Oslo, these are not very important grievances.

The room was ideal, compact but having all the facilities you need in your stay. Almost as an small apart hotel with kitchenette, a comfortable bedroom and a balcony. Tow security doors, nice shower and plasma tv. Well located at just 15 minutes walking distance from town. Also it has a very nice look. The area where is located in a dogy area close to the metro where some strange looking people hang around.

Very new hotel (not easy to find in Oslo). It is an apartment hotel for long term stays. It is not on a walking distance to the Central Train Station. I recommend you to stay here if you go to Oslo more than one week and with reasonable prices. Internet connection was not working.

The room had a washing machine / tumble dyer and small kitchen area which were great since we were travelling with young children and need to dry wet clothes and could make some of our own food. The hotel is really close to a metro station so getting in and out of the city centre is quick and easy.

Clean, comfortable and well located. THe absence of cutlery, plates and kitchenware was disappointing. Being told tgey can be rented was insulting ;a fully fitted kitchen could not be used without them. I suggest that a deposit could have been taken to secure the safe return of such items. This left us with a poor impression of the hotel though all else was very good.

If this is the last available room in the city, and you just have to be in Oslo, then stay here. Not otherwise. When you're travelling in business, and want to have a quick dinner after the long day at work, have a good night sleep in a comfortable bed, iron your shirt and have a good breakfast, it's not possible here.

The hotel was opened in 2008 and is very modern with very good room decor and facilities. It is only two stops on the Metro to Oslo S station and about 5 minutes walk from the metro station & local shops/supermarkets. It is located in a rough area of Oslo (according to our local friends) and if your room is facing the road traffic noise is a nuisance for most of the day and night. Although cups and glasses are provided it costs 150NOK per day to hire cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils, we took our own and managed perfectly although there is only a hob and microwave provided (no oven).

The restaurant was lovely and the chef (who also waited the tables) was very friendly. I stayed in a standard room which was meant to be a serviced apartment for 2 people, the room was absolutely tiny! We could barely move and the element of serviced apartment was ridiculous; there was no cutlery, dining plates or any other cooking utensils. To get a cup of tea we had to unplug the TV and take the kettle to the opposite side of the room to get charged. The standard of cleanliness was also poor, especially within the bathroom. The location wasn't great, we used the T-metro to travel from the city centre to the hotel and found the area to be quite intimidating with large groups hanging about outside. I don't generally complain or even complete these reviews but I was really disappointed with this hotel and wouldn't like other people to experience the same.

“We got a good deal regarding Oslo prices. The hotel was a 5 minute walk to the centre and easy to find. The room was pretty decent and the breakfast was a big buffet with a good variety of food.
