Kitchen was fully equipped. Accommodations were clean and very comfortable, for a family of four, the price is without comparison for lodging in Norway. A great value!!!

Great location and very good value Great location, but not central so a bit of a walk from the railway station. Not a problem for most, but would be a taxi ride for older individuals or those with lots of luggage.

My husband and I traveled through Norway in July 2012. The location of the Birkebeineren was very good. We walked to town for dinner. The staff was helpful and the buffet breakfast was very good. Our room was comfortable. We recommend this hotel. Mississauga (near Toronto), Canada

This was our second stay at Birkebeiner. The play area for the kids is nice for burning off energy. Very extensive breakfast buffet, with its own kids section with fun food for kids, like fruit chunks on skewers. very clean; you could eat off the floors in your room.

Nice size room, easy parking, next to Olympic facilities, clean, good breakfast, within easy walking distance to center of town. Not a luxury place, but nice accommodations. Generous parking space. No dinner restaurant, but town within walking distance or very easy drive

Stort pænt rum. Køkkenet havde næsten alt vi behøvede. Ligger sådan at man let kan komme med bussen til højfjeldet. Lyset i køkkenet kunne have været bedre. Vi savnede en elektrisk keddel.

ikke lys i ene nattlampe forstyrrende lyd tidlig søndag morgen,hørtes ut som prat i mikrofon/høytaler e.l. tok veldig lang tid før varmt vann i dusjen ikke noe personell å se i spisesalen i løpet av min frokost,ingen som sjekket om det trengtes etterfyll o.l. Hørte bare livlig prat på kjøkkenet
