Much better choice than chain hotels in the city. Nice clean rooms with friendly staff and a great breakfast in a room overlooking the city and mountains. So beautiful. We stayed in two different rooms - both were nice. In particular, the "top floor" rooms have an excellent view. Easy to get to from the train station. Avis car rental is less than two blocks away. Highly recommend.

the hotel is halfway up on a hill, so it has a good view of the whole town. really enjoy staying in their coffee house and dinning room, from where u can have a great view! and service and breakfast is good!

Excellent, friendly and helpful staff who obviously like what they are doing, spotless place wirh a lot of love to all detail, great breakfast, super service, totally worth staying there. Free private parking, close to citycenter and skiing area. Will definitely stay there again next time we come to Narvik!!! Among the three best places that i have ever stayed at in this category.

Nothing, everything was ecxellent.

Amazing value for money, everything from heated tiles in the bathroom to Norwegian salmon and caviar at the breakfast buffet was luxurious and yet not over-priced (for Norway). Staff were very friendly, welcoming and communicative, and like everyone we met in Scandinavia they spoke perfect English.

There was nothing that we didn't enjoy, we can be incredibly fussy, and this place ticked all our boxes and more.

The hotel made it easy for us to get in even though we arrived very late at night, after reception had closed (we had warned them in advance). We had an attic room with sloping ceiling, there is a lovely view over the city and lake which more than makes up for having to mind your head. Breakfast is plentiful and with the same lovely views. The hotel is very easy to reach from the train station - harder from the bus station as the road signs are not all marked. If you are stuck, walk to the train station and you will see a sign pointing across the road to the guesthouse road. You'll also find it's less steep from the train station. If you go directly from the bus station, take the road going up from the "I EAT" cafe - the guesthouse is right at the top (it looks like any other house from below), although you have to go up a slope and then some metal steps to the entrance on the other side of the building. The staff were very friendly and there are plenty of places to relax and meet others.

Extremely small bathroom for 4 people to share

It was more like staying with a trendy cousin in their big house rather than in a hotel! Very cozy and clean, with eclectic designed rooms and common places. Best experience being the great broad view from all the windows though!

Not a minus necessarily but do notice that reception is closed at times (maybe more on weekend and night times)

The room was very small

Breidablikk was perfect for us. The rooms were new, modern, spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpfully. The food was excellent and plentiful. The location was ideal being close to the railway station, main street, shopping areas and hiking paths.

Excellent scenery view from the room and lobby. Staff are helpfull and kind. Unexpected bonus, we can see "Aurora" in the room all boght!

Room was very romantic! The view was fantastic, a look over the city to the sea. Breakfast was delicious and locally made. We warmly recommend!

You can see the sea view in your room and taking meal in the dinning room. The hotel is between the train and bus station.

As the receptionist is not 24 hours and no staff in the hotel after working hours, guests who have late to come back and do not wish to carry the key with them may face difficulty. Remember, their staff can be go back early and you may difficulty to open hotel main door and your own room key. As there are no staff in the night, the safety is another problem.
