I travel a lot and can't really say there was anything I liked about this hotel
When you walk in the corridor you can hear people talk in their rooms. The interior is noisy and unpractical. You can't turn around in the bathroom. The shower has one of those taps which is impossible to adjust warm and cold water perfectly. One of the reception staff talks so much that you have to walk in the middle of her long outlay. If you just need some place to sleep and anything works, this will work. But if your looking for a nice spa weekend don't even think about this place if you want a minimum of comfort and privacy.
The location was great and the staff were friendly.
However, I rather pay more to get a clean room with clean sheets. There were a lot of dirt in the corners around the sink and in the shower. The bathroom had a unappealing smell which you noticed when you entered the room.
Amazing breakfast and is a beautiful hotel
Wonderful breakfast full of good taste, fruit, spa
Too small the room and miniature toilet. Hammam bath Doesn't work and too hard dry towels
Very helpful staff, rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was good
Sauna and other spa facilities are not private.
Breakfast Comfort of bed and pillows Décor Eco Friendly Very friendly staff Unique
We had been flying for 24 hours and it was so nice to arrive at such a beautiful hotel. They gave us a free upgrade which meant we got a suite with a large copper bath and a private sauna in our bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely amazing!!!! So looking forward to staying here again on our last night in Norway. The decor is beautiful and the beds were sooooo comfy, fluffy doonas, lots of pillows, 4 poster bed. Luxury! And a good price.
Nothing, can't wait to go back
We enjoyed everything from a great breakfast to cosy receiption area and charming rooms. The staff is second to none.
The separate cold and warm water handles in the shower are nice from an esthetic perspective, but makes it difficult to match the exact temperature you want for the water Parking is difficult
We had up graded and whe we arrived we were upgraded again to stunning well arranged rooms. Restaurant was outstanding. Spa area so relaxing. Would go back again and again. It is well worth the cost, which is not bad for Oslo. Staff so helpful.
Cannot fault anything.
The hotel is located in a quiet street close to the Royal Palace and at easy walking distance to all major touristic sights. Staff competent and very receptive. We booked a family room. The room was not exactly spacious for a family room. There were 2 interconnected rooms each with its own toilet. Internet was free and breakfast included in the rates. But you have to like organic food because there is not food options for those not adept to such taste.
Rooms somewhat cramped. Few options for breakfast.
Proximity to restaurants and shops and the sauna with complimentary face masks etc. Also the Apple Macs in the rooms.
The breakfast was included but not a huge variety and not great for children. The steam room was out of order.
Really inspired by the Sami style in the lobby as well as the room! Spa facilities are nice and modern; Location is not bad - 10 mins walk from Nationaltheatret station; Staffs are kind and friendly.
Only one sauna room was working at the night we stayed; The Spa is mixed with Male and Female which I don't really like; Lack of choices in breakfast.
Very friendly staff and good location
Spa rather small
Location Breakfast Helpful and attentive staff
Rooms are a bit too small. It is better to take a superior type, which is more comfortable!
we found dirty spots in the toilet, and hairs on the dovet cover which disapointted us. The room is old and a little bit narrow.
Excellent staff, very friendly and welcoming Cosy feel The organic philosophy
Rooms are really small Check out is at 11am
beautiful deco of the room and breakfast room, quiet and easy to access location, good breakfast.
small room and breakfast room crowded.
The location was good for access to Akker Brygge. There are plenty of bars and restaurants there.
The receptionist that was present most during our stay had no local knowledge so could not give us any tourist advice. The breakfast was hectic - 1 guy working the floor. He was good but he was never able to keep up with replenishing, clearing, etc. The public area is small so not very relaxing.
style is different with other hotels
Perfect venue for two nights in Oslo. Breakfast was fantastic would definitely stay again.
-Nice staff -Great location, close to the city centre and many of the best sights without being right in the middle of downtown -Lovely eco shower bath products -Had a room with a balcony
-No aircondition. At first I was freezing and had the heater set to 30 degrees which it was in no way in the room. During the night it got hot so I had to open the balcony door, but the street noise woke me several times -The pillows were in poor condition -There was no closet to put your cloth in, they had to stay in your bags or on a bench -There was no bench room in the bathroom, my bathstuff had to sit on top of the toilet which meant I had to move it every time I had to use the toilet -Wifi speed didn't impress anyone
It is a great location, with very kind staff, good and nicely decorated rooms.
The breakfast was a bit basic, but still ok.
It's not just another plastic hotel "from the box"
More choice for breakfast would be nice
