Wow - where to start. Entrance area very worn out/tired. Check in is at the bar - desk grumpy. Not enough tables at breakfast on both mornings so sat in 'lobby' w breakfast. Rooms v tiny. Barely able to turn around in mine! Bathroom w shower only, so tiny and frankly dirty sink and shower. An Eco hotel, but beginning w towels, give guests real towels, not rough tea towels! Soap is liquid so must take into shower. No phones in room, so must use mob to contact 'desk' or go downstairs. No heat control in room, so chilly. Location is fine if you have NO suitcase, but quite a haul from Nat Theatre station if you do. Would not stay here again.
Everything except the size of restroom is excelent.
Very small restroom, with sink almost over the toilet.
Friendly staff..comfortable beds..good location..breakfast good..quaint location
spa area not stocked with products one night and dry sauna not hot enough..although a very nice amenity for the hotel when complete..view looking directly at apartment windows
I thought the hotel was fantastic, with so many cute, quirky features. The breakfast was delicious too!
Liked the organic focus - it was a different type of stay but did all the basics really well. And it was right near the office.
The room is really small. But then again, when you're traveling for business and only use the room to sleep in and work on your laptop, it was totally fine.
Very helpful staff.
Room a bit too small, especially the bathroom.
90% organic!!! the breakfast buffet was good.
We really enjoyed the City Hall and area around there as well as the sculpture park.
Costs in Oslo are almost prohibitive.
the decor in room and all through hotel was unique and inviting. The linens & complimentary toiletries were top quality. Complimentary breakfast was very generous, creative, delicious. The staff was especially friendly and helpful.
the standard double was really small though good use of the space.
Staff Breakfast buffet and hours Ambience Free wi fi They have given a company the restaurant which seems busy but its not open on Sunday - the harbour is 5-10 walk with plenty of options
Rooms even in superior double are very small. No closet. A 4 poster bed is in fact annoying in a small space Wi fi hit and miss in 4th floor room.
Superb location close to the major tourist sites (and a very short walk to public transportation with direct service to the airport); very pleasant staff; affordable price in ruinously-expensive Oslo; windows that open to let in fresh air. .
Rooms are smallish, breakfast is fine but not outstanding.
Very helpful staff, delicious organic breakfasts, free use of sauna
it was lovely hotel ,very nice and clean :) it was great to sleep there great breakfast ! thank you to Katherine from the front desk for all the help about planing our trip in Norway !!!
the room was lovely but a little bit tiny
Comfy bed and nice breakfast.
Beds are good
No Parking and police just waits to give you a ticket when 4m away from crosswalk, very small rooms
We had a two room unit, each with it's own bathroom and king bed. It was ideal for two couples. Very luxurious room, and excellent continental breakfast. Can get beer and wine 24/7 from the front desk. It had a television in one room and an Apple computer in the other. Easy access to the National Theater train and subway station.
Couple 1 has to go through Couple 2's room to the outside door. That is not really a problem, however, especially if one couple wants to stay up late.
Very friendly staff, perfect (and organic!) breakfast
The location i great in a nice and quiet residential area. I like the green attitude and the focus on organic foods and sustainable tourism.
The constant stream of pop music in the lobby and restaurant, loud people drinking wine in the lobby as you check in. The dirty dishes pile up on the tables during breakfast. The orange juice is from concentrate hence not very tasty, the lack of EGGS for breakfast, and the sweaty cheese - why not keep it cool? The standard of cleanliness has decreased since last time I visited.
The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, a true boutique hotel. Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable and the organic breakfast is great.
Unfortunately they have serious management issues. The staff is not friendly nor accommodating. I asked for a late checkout (at 10:57am) and was told I needed to leave the room by 11 sharp. I asked for 30 minutes and was told 15 max. It is easy to tell housekeeping to skip the room and make it later while they make the other ones first, even if they are sold out. Cleanliness from Housekeeping is an issue. My bathroom sink was literally black from mold, which I could scrape off with my nail. This is absolutely unacceptable. There was a cake of dust over all the lightbulbs and over the bed. Scuff marks all over the walls which can be removed with a wet washcloth. 2 lightbulbs were out and a decor piece on the bed frame was falling off, which tells me maintenance is non existent either. Such a beautiful property with a chance to be excellent ruined by poor management, obviously coming from the top. FYI I was a hotel manager for 10 years.
Nicely located and small, cosy hotel with all the necessary facilities and an excellent and most helpful staff! Definetely returning :)
Difficulty in finding parking in the area (without getting a fine!)
Decor, breakfast, friendliness of the staff. helpful with directions and was willing to start up the saunas upon request, even outside its opening time.
bought a glass of wine from the reception, staff did not know when the bottle was opened and wine did not taste good at all, overpriced for what it was. Room was a bit small, but still enough for two. Room also didn't have an apple TV.
Personal, relaxed, stylish hotel with a character, excellent breakfast, close to everything, overall a great quality experience
Nothing. It had no air conditioning but it was not needed at the time I was there. Can hear occasional noise outside, but nothing annoying
All out great place.
The staff at the hotel were lovely, sorted any problems we had, for example, the room was too warm at night and they gave us a fan to use! Also the facilities were good, had an iron, hair dryer, spa and sauna to use for free! Would recommend to stay at this hotel.
I wish the hotel offered English tea for breakfast, however, apart from this breakfast was different. In addition, there was no refreshments in our room e.g. a kettle, or tea or biscuits offered which is usually in other hotel rooms.
great staff great breakfast nice decor good locatio
tiny rooms no parking
