Was well located and it overlooked the waterside, and room had a small balcony and a good TV I found this hotel very very disappointing. I paid over 200 sterling per night for a so called "superior" room. It was small, old and tired. It needed redecorating and there was no bench to put suitcase on and no drawers for clothes, only a small wardrobe. Two lights did not work and thermostat on trouser press failed. Breakfast hot food was cold and ran out 45 mins before breakfast ended and many guests went without.No leisure failities inside hotel but an agreement with outside provider but price should have been reduced to reflect this. I stayed in other hotels in Norway much much better and half the price, albeit outside Bergen eg Rico in Forde.I reported to Reception who stated the price was for Bergen !! |

Reservation had not been completed when I arrived at hotel. Hotel staff gave me a wrong room. When I entered into the room, other guest was there. I was really surprised. |

When I arrived they did not get any confirmation of Book.com although I was able to show the voucher send to me! However it turned out that I got the same price as mentioned in your booking system and stayed anyway! |

It's location by the water and the spacious room. The standard of coffee for breakfast. We ended up bringing our own instant. |

close to Bergen harbour 1-when the staff says "the room is on the side" it means the room is on the street. 2-when facade renovation is underway and the windows is closed by a plastic protection on a scaffolding the room could be discounted. |

Your website stated that this hotel accepted Maestro debit cards. When we came to settle our account we could not use this card. Fortunately we had another we could use. |

The comfort of the bed and the plentiful breakfast. The outside temperature was unusually high and like many European countries with cooler climates the room had no AC. The room cooled down with open windows at night and I had a comfortable night. |

Located directly in the heart of Bergen. Breakfast on terrace directly on the water with a great view to the Bryggen. Great breakfast selection. The construction work mentioned in the latest reviews seems to have finished. Rooms not climated, but I assume there are only a few hot days in the summer. There was a ventilator and it is a quiet area so you can leave the windows open. The coffee was awful, as everywhere in Bergen ;-( |

Central location, clean, presentable and courteous staff (except the man on the morning of July 11. He looked very unkept and unshaven and did not smile) Lack of parking or even lack of any coupon or rebate to use the public parking. Hotel guests should receive some discount. |

hotel was in the middle of major renovation, the room was in the middle of a buliding site. I feel it is unfair not to alert guests when they book. I would certainly have booked somewhere else if I had known |

Das tolle Zimmer mit grandiosem Blick auf Bryggen, das Zimmer war originell restauriert, das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet, die Terrasse für Frühstück oder einen Schlummertrunk, die zwei jungen Damen an der Reception mit ihrer Hilfsbereitschaft Beim ersten Aufenthalt im Zimmer 528 fehlte (für mich, nicht für meinen Mann) der Kaffee/Teekocher. |
