Inclusive dinner and 24 hour free snacks Free Wifi Hotel position by water Hotel position in the heart of the town Friendly, helpful staff
Very good choice if you plan to visit Preikestolen, easy to find and the ferry to stavanger is very convenient!
Buffet evening meal and coffee available throughout the day
Noise at night as bedroom faced side road
Service, location, price, food.
No shower cap supplied was our only criticism.
One of the best hotels I have ever been stayed in. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. They know of all the places that one should see, they look for the info you need and help you plan everything. I can only highly recommend this hotel !
Very friendly staff Location is perfect Nice concept
Really nice stay, great location. Including breakfast and dinner in price was great and the kids filled up on waffles each day at waffle hour.
We were there for 9 nights and found that the dinner meal did become a little repetitive and boring. It is part of the price though so cant complain too much
Lovely location. Lovely staff. Liked late soupe on arival at midnight. Must come back.
Great location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, quality breakfast
The dinner package is very repetitive and not of a high quality. That said cheaper than dining out each night as Norway is EXPENSIVE
comfortable, nice sized room, close to several restaurants, convenient
too close to some nightclubs, with the window open to cool the room, the noise is distracting, parking is a problem
Excellent location, nice decorations (photos etc), spacious room and bathroom, comfortable beds. Tasty food and good value for money. Parking garage easily reached.
What was good about this hotel was the friendly service at reception when we arrived. The room was very nice, modern and clean. The hotel is centrally located in Haugesund town centre and the hotel also includes free supper.
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, but the comments and suggestions we mentioned last time were not taken seriously. It seems that the hotel only caters to a certain group of people, which is a shame since it is a very nice hotel to stay in. I guess not all hotels are true in what they preach when they say customer comments and suggestions are valued and are important. We don't eat animal flesh, eggs or dairy products because of health reasons and again there was not much vegan/organic choices to choose from during breakfast time. There was not much gluten free and lactose intolerant food options. The snacks during the day we could not have because the waffles were made from milk and eggs. The supper could have had more vegan options, like vegan sauces, spreads and soup. We were overall very disappointed with the food choices. There are 3 major important factors in a good stay at a hotel, friendly/helpful staff, cleanliness/quality of room and food options/quality. We noticed two different attitudes when we stayed at this hotel on two different occasions, if you were visiting Haugesund for a city break with a backpack, the staff was not very friendly or helpful, but if you were visiting with a laptop bag for work related reasons, then they treated you like you were the most important customer in the hotel. One last thing, where are the organic labels during breakfast and supper? Doesn’t this hotel brag about their policy to protect the environment? There is one important action that has a wide reaching & fast impact that anyone can do to save the environment: Vegan/Organic foods. If the hotel is serious about protecting the environment, then Vegan/Organic foods is an obvious choice to make.
very friendly staff
rooms are quite small
