The hotel was a nice location from the harbor and the main shopping area. We were served waffles, dinner and breakfast inclusive of the price. The lobby and dining area were nicely decorated with a whaling/shipping theme. We were lucky that are room was ready a bit early so we could unload the luggage from our car before exploring the area the rest of the day. This was one of our favorite hotels along the trip. I would stay here again and ask for a room off the street. We had trouble sleeping because of heat and noise. The day was hot and the sun heated up our room. A ceiling fan to move the air would have helped. The room was noisy as it was a streetside room and the windows had to be open because of the heat. This would not be a problem in the cooler months. |

The dining area was themed which was excellent as it posed to be original to the othet hotals i have stayed in. There was no additonal cosmetics for the shower room and little complementary gifts which i find surprising considering the higher price for the stay. |

As we stayed here only for one night I can not say a lot about the hotel. It is situated comfortably just in 10 min driving from the airport in a very center of Sandefjord not far from the sea cost and a Whale Museum. Breakfast was good enough to be full till diner. Our children enjoyed the decoration of the breakfast room. Furniture seemed to be worn-out. |

i reserved a double bed and we got twin beds, and as told double beds only available in suites. We stayed there on a satrurday and the hole night drunk people were shouting and screaming outside as the hotel bar was located under our windows. |

Very good service, great location within walking distance of station and sandefjord centre. Food was very good and rooms fine. Very interesting whaling memorabilia. One of our party was a vegetarian who was offput by the whaling photographs and artefacts. |

The room was clean and very comfotable. The inclusive afternoon tea and evening buffet was a real bonus. The innovative layout of the eating areas was very pleasant and allowed for relaxing and more private eating. We were really looking forward to the solarium, sauna and turkish bath which was advertised as part of the facilities We arrived to find that it was under refurbishment and not available. This should have been advised of this at the time of booking. The bill was not reduced to reflect this.We cannot comment on the shopping as we stayed Sat/Sun and most of the shops were closed both days. |

We chose this hotel after we booked cheap flights to Oslo then realised how far away Torp airport was from Oslo, however it was a great success. Clean well maintained and spacious. There are a lot of whaling artefacts as Sandefjord is very proud of its whaling heritage. It has the world's only whaling museum. The buffett area is full of whaling artefacts and whilst tasteful, veggies might find the harpoon guns etc a bit off putting! |

The showers did not have any schampoo or body wash. They only contained the same hand soap as the toilet. The free internet access only lasted for 8 hours, which means that you could use it in the evening, but in the morning after getting up, before breakfast you could not get online and check emails etc before checking out. |
