mi è piaciuto il rapporto con lo staff sempre disponibile, spesso competente, e gentile

mi sono piaciute poco le camere. infatti abbiamo soggiornato in due periodi non consecutivi ma durante la stessa vacanza e la prima volta la camera era vecchia e dava l'impressione di aver bisogno di una bella ripulita. la seconda camera invece era nuova ma francamente aveva un bagno dove una persona non si poteva quasi muovere per cui il bagno risultava essere soffocante

L'eleganza degli arredi, molto suggestivi, e la possibilità di consumare colazione, merenda e cena inclusi nel prezzo.

La camera e il bagno erano carini ma molto piccoli, comunque confortevoli.

Hotel vissuto ma accogliente e pulito. Servizio buono ed efficiente. Cucina semplice e buffet informale, ideale per rapporto qualità prezzo. Dettagli di arredo curati.

E' un buon hotel ben organizzato.

Ho trovato il personale molto gentile e comprensivo. Mi hanno cambiato stanza senza difficoltà dopo che mi ero lamentato per il troppo rumure. Il buffet serale, compreso nel prezzo, è stata la motivazione che mi ha convinto a prenotare questo albergo.

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Plentiful and varied breakfast items. Afternoon pancakes a nice touch, and included evening buffet a welcome money saver.

Bathroom small. Room small , i couldn't even open my luggage (small cabin luggage!). The breakfast is fine but not exceptionnal .

A very friendly welcome from Harald on reception when we arrived (he remained friendly and helpful on ever encounter - a credit to the company). The room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful and the breakfast room was inviting. The location was good although the area is clearly in the middle of major road upgrades.

Whilst I understand that there is not a precedent for vegetarians, the restaurant options were very limited. Having been eating the pasta salad for three days as the best option it was very disappointing that on the fourth day we found that meat had been added to it. And the vegetable soup was made with chicken stock...

At night this neighborhood is rough, lots of prostitutes. The amenities were seriously lacking, plan on bringing your own toiletries and adapter- they don't have any to lend. They also only offer do it yourself laundry. In short, if you are traveling for business this is not a good choice. Also the room I stayed in was very small- I couldn't even fully open my suitcase.

The easy going atmosphere thanks to the staff and the warm furnishings of the common rooms.

The most friendly lady on reception I have ever come across at any hotel, nothing too much trouble. Very good evening snack and breakfast all included as well as tea/coffee and that really helps as Oslo is soo expensive

Hotel is only 5 minutes walk from Central Station but you need to walk 4 or 5 blocks to find a newsagent or decent bar which is only slight drawback to an otherwise highly recommended hotel which I will use again.

Everything was absolutely excellent. The staff very were extremely friendly and helpful. The uniqueness of each room and the high quality of every aspect of the decor added greatly. The most impressive point I would think is the excellent value for money which includes a very nice evening meal.

The warmth and enthusiasm of the staff carries this hotel. I also liked the old style furniture and the jacuzzi bath in my room.

Bathroom was very small - hard to get in and out of shower. Also towels kept falling in the toilet as the towel rail was not well positioned!

Excellent staff who were very friendly and accomodating. The inclusion of an evening meal and afternoon pancakes makes this hotel the best value in the city. Food and drink in Oslo is expensive (£20 is a budget meal and it ranks 2nd on the big mac index, even a mcdonalds meal will cost £10+) this hotel gives the freedom to spend your money on more of the wonderful sights! Great quality rooms, on the smaller side but nothing different to any other city hotel esp London etc. The food selection is authentically Norweigian and great quality! If I was staying in Oslo again I would go straight for this hotel.

Staff was really friendly, bed was very comfortable, room quiet, fresh and light. They will never let you starving die - plenty of food in the morning and evening as well as pancake break in the afternoon. Location is excellent, next to old city not more than 10 minutes to center, railway station, metro and harbor.

Tiny bathroom

Staff was friendly, helpful. Our room was comfortable. This Clarion also offers an extensive breakfast buffet, afternoon "waffles", and an extended evening smorgasbord.

This hotel is surrounded by blocks of construction and general upheaval including the street where it is located. And though 6 blocks from the central train station and harbor area, the hotel setting is in an area with street vagrants, empty offices, shops, etc. Being without a car and with some physical limitations as to walking far, we had expected to be able to book city tours with a hotel pickup, but found that this was not possible due to the torn up streets and construction all around. This meant either a difficult walk of 6 or more blocks through an undesirable area, or an expensive taxi in order to get to another tour pickup stop. This Clarion did not live up to it's description on booking.com for us. Disappointed!
