The Hotel rooms are very modest. However, are comfortable enough, to make you fresh for the next day. The cleanness was not superb but was OK. I think the great advantage of the Clarion in front the others hotels is the free supper at night. In a so expensive country like Norway, this kind of thing really makes an enormous diference. The location is also extremely good with a wonderful view of the sea.

The Hotel staff was OK except for the following event; In spite of, at reservation requested a double bed, we found a two twin bed in ours room. The answer of the staff so simple as " sorry we do not have rooms with double bed available anymore". This kind of answer, means that "request" to the Clarion staff means nothing.

A lovely place to stay particularly, as we overlooked the water.

Nothing. It was definitely terrible. The worst hotel and staff I have ever seen. First of all the picture of the room does not correspond to the room that we had in this ugly hotel. We ordered a double-room but we received a twin. When I tried to receive a double an unfriendly staff lady lied me that is have not been mentioned in the booking. I insisted to look into my booking request. She looked and told me that a double- room means…two separate beds!!!!!!! She told that there were no any free room in the hotel and we could get off if we did not like the room!!! Is it a good and friendly staff? The bath-room was absolutely terrible: cold and wet. There was no any carpet under shower and you had to stay on a cold and not clean floor. The lamps worked only in a one half of the room. The second part of the room was out of electric power! We run out the hotel next morning as early as it was possible to another hotel. We will never come back and do not recommend this terrible and unfriendly hotel to any voyager of any age or status. Brrrrrr….

Rhe service was of very good standard

We had a nice weekend at the hotel. Very nice staff! Good food! We would go back for another stay at this hotel if the opportunity comes around.

The evening buffet was a joke,was poor.Breakfast was not so good. Generally,the meals were dissapointed. The toilet amenities were not at all.

Fantastic harbourside location and impressive layout.

We loved the breakfast buffet and waffles and supper, it made it so much easier as there was a large selection of food available. Great decor and a nice welcoming concept for travellers.

No laundry facilities available for guests to use

I liked having so many meals included in the daily rate. The breakfast buffet is very complete, then in the afternoon you can make your own delicious waffles, and in the evening a buffet supper is served. As is usual in Norway, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is well located. Room was quite large and furnished with a couch and two sitting chairs as well as the bed.

This hotel is run as a budget hotel. The rooms were not very clean. The service was very non existent. The breakfast/light dinner was very basic and the worse we have experienced in our travels around Norway. The dirty dishes were just left on the tables. We wait 15 minutes just to check out while the sole receptionist served one customer.

Hotel con ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, in posizione comodissima, camere spaziose, pulite e molto carine, wi-fi gratuito, architettura particolare e arredamento piacevole. Cena a buffet inclusa nel prezzo, di buona qualità, ci ha permesso di non dover uscire con 10 gradi sotto zero e un vento a 60 km/ora. In generale, raccomandatissimo a tutte le categorie di viaggiatori.
