L'hotel si trova nella via della chiesa più importante di Bergen, la St. Marienkirke, e si affaccia sul Bryggen e unisce il fascino di un edificio storico alla funzionalità dei servizi e dell'arredo di nuova concezione. Dalla finestra della camera si ha una vista molto bella, sul porto e sulla collina in cui sono arroccate le case di Bergen, come in un presepe. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Avere in hotel una "light dinner" a buffet , disponibile fino alle 21.00, inclusa nel prezzo della camera, rende più gradevole il soggiorno, soprattutto la prima sera, quando ancora non si conosce la città |

La posizione dell'hotel è ottima, l'unica pecca è il parcheggio, che l'hotel non ha e abbiamo dovuto parcheggiare a diverse centinaia di metri di distanza perchè il parcheggio vicino era pieno. La ristrutturazione è recente -2006, il posto è affascinante e l'area relax (sauna e bagno turco) molto bella (e senza nessuno, l'hanno aperta per noi). La cucina (colazione, spuntino e cena leggera) è buona, ma la qualità risente del servizio (a volte latitante, dovevamo andarci a prendere le bevande al bar da soli, perchè non arrivavano i camerieri, che spesso sparivano). Una sera abbiamo mangiato benissimo, l'altra meno alle 21:00 in punto hanno fatto sparire le i cucchiai per rifornirsi di cibo dai portavivande -probabilmente volevano andare casa |

Good central location. Across from SAS Fly Bus pick up. The evening meal was nice and the value seemed good compared to how expensive everything else is in Bergen. |

Good location for sightseeing. Airport shuttle bus stop and supermarket is just around the corner. Entrance was very narrow and there was no ramp for baggage. Just several steps but with big suitcases, it was not very friendly. |

The hotel deserves the 4 stars. We checked in late. We missed the dinner. The receptionist though, named Christian, fixed dinner for everyone. He was very helpfull. Also the free pancakes and coffe between lunch and dinner was very nice. |

Nice looking hotel, great location, comfortable modern rooms in a rennovated old building. The harbor view room was not large, but comfortable enough for two people. The sauna and steam room were a nice bonus. Pretty good value for your money based on location, room quality, amenities, and given Norway is so expensive. |

We enjoyed walking around the city of Bergen, Norway, including a 5-minute walk from our hotel to a tram ride we took up the mountain to see all the views of Bergen. |

Nice staff, ready to help. Modern design, not only in the common area but also in the room. Quite room. Service; free buffet in the evening (no need to look for a restaurant), relax area (sauna, fitness), free W-LAN (ask scratch card at the reception). No swimming pool (minor issue) |

Very central location close to shops and places of interest, airport bus stop is 10 meters from the hotel. Room was spacious and attractively decorated Room on the first floor above the main entrance was noisy on occasion during the night |

The location of the hotel is excellent for airport transfers and general sight seeing. The hotel also has a very nice touch with the afternoon waffles and coffee. An extremely pleasant weekend in a excellent city. The heating was difficult to understand and we spent the first evening in extremely high temperatures |

Good Location, cleanliness of the hotel, half -board with still that price is very good specially if you compare the price with the hotel next door which is SAS scandic even they have a facility of a pool & sauna. |
