Good atmosphere, great breakfast, nice modern clean decor

All the hotel was very clean. The bedroom was very comfortable, the bed was very soft and there was a chair in room that was just as cosy. The room was nicely sound proofed from the outside and perfect even if you intend to sleep during the day. The buffet they serve at lunch and dinner is a bit expensive, 295 krone, but the food is good and definitely worth it if you don't feel like going to the city to eat. They also have a Grab & Go where you can buy a sandwich or a bagel for 65 krone and some drinks or chocolates at any time. The staff was all very kind and promptly replied to any question I had. You have the S44 Shuttle Bus that goes from the airport to the hotel, it costs 70 Krone, but it is still cheaper than a taxi. I did the first ride by taxi and paid for 240 krone, so unless you are travelling with three other people it is best to take the bus. You can use it easily and go back to the airport to catch the Airport Express train that will take you in maybe 15 minutes to Oslo city centre, the ticket for the train costs 140 krone. I loved it and surely would be back.

I got the impression that the bedroom had an ipod dock from the description of the hotel, but there isn't one in the room unfortunately. The buffet has sushi but it isn't good, the rice is too hard and sticky and they only serve nigiri and some uramaki (california). I expected at least some fresh sashimi, considering the country I was visiting and the abundance of salmon.

My room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. You could dim the lights in the bathroom. It was quiet in the hotel.

The fact that nobody tells you about the local bus on the other side of the parking which costs 30nok to get to the airport...

It wasn't obvious from the information that there was a bus service between the hotel and the airport every 15 mins mon -friday during the day and every 30mins at weekends

The rooms are nice

It wasn't clear what services were available, was the tea and coffee free (I stil don't know). It's a little secluded so you can't just pop out for a snack.

I find it shameful that if I take a hotel at the airport in Oslo, have to pay a bus service every time I have to go or return to the airport. In other hotels I've stayed near an airport, this service was free. I will not recommend it either. The hotel is nice and the staff pleasant, but I think the bad and expensive communications, not offset.

I booked the hotel bcause I could not get back to Stockholm after a late meeting. On booking.com I got the impression the hotel was very near the airport, possibly within walking distance and was cheaper than sas Radisson Blu. It turned out to be 10-15 minutes away by car so I had to take a taxi. Shuttle buses did not go often late evening early morning. It would hve been the same price, possibly cheaper to stay at Radisson Blu since the taxi fare return trip costed approx 500 nok.

Very nice situated to the airport, with late arrivel/or early departure.. Very good value for money.
