Score from 710 reviews Good
Really nice bedroom, clean and comfortable, with good sound isolation (we couldn't hear anything from outside with the windows closed). Breakfast was just perfect, I just missed some fried eggs, but I understand that the hotel was quite full to be frying eggs to everyone (and I didn't ask for it either). Reception, lobby and restaurant were always clean and organized. Amazing and friendly staff, I have not enough words for them, always ready to help you with everything.
On saturday morning, the elevator was completely dirty and smelling hamburger, not very pleasant to use. The public toilets, beside the reception, were not that nice cleaned either.
Late checkout at 6pm on Sunday. Perfectly comfortable hotel
Room was quite small and breakfast very busy such that finding a seat was difficult
Excellent location. Comfortable room and bed
Free hot drinks in lobby great bonus
quiet, tucked away room, comfortable bed, good breakfast
very dim lighting in room and throughout hotel
God frokost, flott beliggenhet
Savnet sofa eller en god tv stol
All worked very well, and it is a great breakfast.
All their envirnonmental efforts.
Glass door on the bathroom are not very comfortable when there is 2 people in the room
Location was superb, breakfast was amazing, free hot drinks are available in the foyer 24/7 (a life-saver when it's -14 C outside!), rooms are spacious and clean and lastly the staff are so, so, so friendly - they help you with any queries you might have. Difficult to fault the hotel to be honest...and I'm picky.
My only dislike would be the frosted glass doors to the bathroom but as I wasn't sharing a room, it didn't bother me.
As a single traveller I enjoy staying in a comfortable single room. That is just what I got at the Comfort Hotel in Trondheim.
The 'packed lunch' I got instead of breakfast (I had to leave early) was not vegetarian (as requested) and quite scanty.
Location Comfort Modernity
A bit too soft beds Modern bathroom but the door was a bit too thin. Was as good as no door at all.
couldn't sleep because of soooo narrow beds...the Width of bed. Fell 2 times as bed was soft on the sides...one can't sleep all night in the middle-50cm...it is obvious you turn and then you fall.
The breakfast, wifi was very good. Location is good too and it's near the airport bus stop. The staff was friendly and cheerful.
The room is rather small is my only negative.
Nice norwegian breakfast.
Poorly equipped gym - needs desperately new location with a view and better/ newer equipment.
Breakfast is really great
Wi fi connection in my room 412 was quite poor and I have been forced to stay in the restaurant for connection.
Good location, members of staff were friendly and helpful. Liked the hot drinks machine in the lobby, convenient for us to make a hot drink and bring it with us when we go out, especially in this cold season, it does kept my hands warm a bit.
Very helpfull and serviceminded staff all over.
The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The location was good. We enjoyed everything.
The hotel was clean, modern and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Included in the price was an EXCELLENT breakfast buffet, not like the America version. Not a small item, considering the price of food in Norway.
I stayed in room 206. I always check the door when leaving to make sure it locks. Once, the door to room 206 did not lock and it took several attempts to get it to lock. This only happened the one time and I don't know why but it should be fixed. The bathroom is stylish but the hotel may want to reconsider the show doors next time they remodel. The glass doors are have about a 1/2 to 3/4 inch gap and the floor in the bathroom can get pretty wet and there is no way to avoid it.
Although I paid for the whole stay at the check-in, hotel charged me a 1000 NOK deposit. It's 5 days since I checked out. My money are still blocked on may account...
Modern, new and clean. Good location, good breakfast. Quiet. WiFi functioning well.
Glass door to the bathroom, partly transparent and you really did not get any privacy. Bad lightning. Room has several big mirrors, but all with a grim light, so difficult to put on makeup or anything else that needed good lightening. Window against the interior (the restaurant and bar), so we had to keep the curtain closed at all times for not being on display. The room was a bit cold because of heavy ventilation (it gave me a nasty cold).
Good location and ok standard hotel
Breakfast is not good and cleanliness in breakfast. Personal don't understand service principles.
Not being told that Krambugata 3 is a one way street and cannot be entered from Olav Tryggvasons street as indicated on the map telling us how to get to Comfort Hotel upon arriving from E6 and Oslo. But we managed to get there after all! Please take note of this!
