The staff was very friendly and helpful and loved that we were close and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Great deal and definitely recommend this hotel.
Excellent price - especially for the eye-wateringly expensive city that is Oslo. Very comfortable bed, good sized bathroom and well-designed to make use of the relatively small amount of space dedicated to the room - e.g. a fold-down desk. Free tea and coffee in the foyer. Well-located for most things in Oslo. The room was very quiet.
- location - style - free self-serve tea and coffee in reception
- staff were quite rude: don't expect service with a smile - staff were unhelpful: unable to recommend anywhere to eat nearby - rooms/beds are tiny - no air con or fans. "air regulation" system had no effect. possible to open the window but noisy "air regulation" system meant we could not sleep. in midsummer the heat would make sleeping very difficult
Friendly staff and great rooms.
En ekkel flekk på dynen, lignet på blod.
The girl at the reception was very helpfull.
the beds were uncomfortable. I think they are too small, suitable for children.
every thing is excellent, very good staff
New, no fuzz, good location, unformal
My room was not cleaned between night 1 and 2. Now drawers or anything to unpack. Small rooms
13-minute walk from the station, modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff, fast checkin and coffee or tea available in the hall, small but very functional rooms, the bathroom has a pleasant floor heating (I recommend to visit the rooftop).
great location simple setup
The location was good, and the staff were friendly.
They don't clean the rooms and make the beds daily.
The room was very comfortable, the decoration was nice and the bathroom was clean. The price was good for a hotel in Oslo, where the average hotel rate is high.
Although it is near the Central Station, the surroundings were not so lively.
We realised how expensive Oslo is after 2 weeks travelling from other Northern European countries. The hotel was fairly in the central but not close to tube or buses. This is a hotel designed for young travellers so there was parties next door to ours in the night, very noisy! You can use downstairs lounge and kitchen for free which was very homely and cosy. The bathroom was clean and new too!
Location, not enough staffing for cleaning. Very noisy in the night.
Good quality, fairly central. The comfort hotel xpress offers good rooms to a low price. The staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and modern. I left them an message while booking, that we would arrive at the hotel early and therefore asked if it was possible to go leave the bags at our room. Just arriving at the hotel three hours before checking in time we got the room for no extra charge. I had expected that my trip to Oslo would be expensive but except from the food, it was not. Oslo is a nice city, you can walk anywhere you want. I do recommend you thou that you buy the Oslo city pass if you are there as a tourist. If i go back to Oslo, ill probably stay there.
"Just fairly central" It's actually not a problem. But you can always get better right? And If you want better you probably have to pay another 500 NOK, which i would not do. In my opinion, there is nothing that I don't really like.
Very good value for money!
we stayed in summer and we are not provided even with a fan and no Air condition in that hotel
It's clean and comfortable. I do enjoy the night i spent here.
The room's air con could be a little bit better.
it is very modern and smartly run ..
it is a bit out of the city center but not that far ... gym is not that grand but still is one of the few in town which has got one!
Convenient, functional and polite staff. No frills but did the job. There are some after hours opportunities to park immediately outside the hotel but during weekdays and Saturday parking costs in Oslo are high.
The air con throughout the hotel was not able to cope with the demands of the uncommon hot weather. The sensor in my room was trying to lower the room to 22 degs C but could not all through the night reduce it below 28 degs C.
Location, wi-fi, decoration, free coffee/tea 24hs, everything was great. Good price and value for money when you compare to other hotels in Oslo. They achieve this low cost by cleaning your room only once every 4 days (you can pay to get cleaned earlier), and that is more than enough.
Pillows are new but could be a bit more comfortable, but not a big deal at all
Staff friendly, allowing luggage deposit. Nice view at rooftop and comfortable in general.
The direction from the train station can be explained better prior to arrival.
Professional, friendly staff. When I requested a room the windows of which I could open I was given it.
The room was quite hot and there was no way of cooling it down. The windows couldn't be opened.
