5-star? Not possible. No bell-boy. Had to carry luggage in the rain by ourselves. Tiny, tiny lobby and we thought the receiption was actually the Concierge desk, but it was the receiption! Theathercoffee shop was closed for renovation. No information received that this was the case. Reception staff didnt explain hotels facilities, which the hotel actually do not have any of anyhow!, didnt ask if we wanted to make dinner or breakfast reservations, room (we stayed in deluxe)was anything than deluxe! Not even a toothbrush, no tea/coffemaking facilities, even found a toenail in the bed!, from previous guest? Does it mean they havent change bedsheet! We paid over EUR 200.00 for this room without breakfast since we thought we would get a 5-star accomodation and treatment. We got a 3-star, overpriced, bad service experience instead.Stay away from this hotel and book anything else to avoid what we had to go through.

The placement of Hotel is great. The breakfast is very tasty. Beds, linens - everything is good and answer the level of hotel

This hotel has the very best location of all Oslo hotels & is without doubt in the best area of the city being just beside the lovely National Theatre, 2 min walk from buses & metro & 5 min walk from the harbour. The hotel is lovely & old fashioned in a very charming way. Public areas are not big but beautifully decorated & spotless. We had 3 single rooms, all very comfy, lovely decor & lovely bathrooms. Breakfast was lovely, nice dining room with a street view. The best thing about this hotel, however, is the staff. During our stay they were, without exception, professional, friendly & very, very helpful. More expensive than other hotels in Oslo but for me it was well worth the extra. Oslo is the most expensive city I have ever been to but also possibly the most civil.

The Living rom were you Could relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of Wien togwther with a light meal. Also the vert close connection to Teatercafeen who has a very good cousine and environment.

Yes, I would, but one of the refurshed room. We got one which was very Old fashioned.

A well maintened traditional yet modern (sic) hotel that is well managed with its guest comfort and enjoyment being their solo purpose.

The room was cold (it was Norway in January!) but within minutes an extra heater was brought to the room.

The facilities and rooms are discretely and elegantly decorated. The location is probably the best in Oslo centre. Fabulous restaurants adjecent.

The breakfast was good but nothing out of the ordinary for Oslo hotels of a certain standard.

Great, warm rooms, High scale interial, perfect location in the very hart of Oslo, fabulus breakfast!! High standard hotel with some of the best restaurants in town

Customer services and the location is good at the centre of the town

Service from staff was attentive and good.

The room that was provided was very noisy at night from the pub downstairs. Room was old and dated.

Location to everything..wharf, restaurants,historical. Just a very nice experience with no disappointments
