Le personnel est très peu aimable. Aucun service en chambre. Aucun sourire. Pensez à emporter votre gel douche/shampoing/savon, car cela n'est pas fourni par l'hôtel. |

La qualité de l'aménagement de la chambre, le charme du mobilier authentique et la disponibilité souriante du personnel. Attention toutefois, le check-list des chambres n'est pas toujours complet : un jour il manque du savon, le lendemain le personnel n'a pas réapprovisionné le thé et les mesurettes de café, le sucre manque. Mais il suffit de s'adresser à la réception pour que tout rentre dans l'ordre, toujours avec le sourire. Petites lacunes dans le service donc. Mais à ce prix, ces lacunes sont indigestes. Les prix ! Ces belles et confortables chambres sont hélas situées dans un environnement très quelconque. La maison voisine est abandonnée et mal entretenue, il faut zigzaguer entre les tables de la terrasse avec ses bagages avant de pouvoir accéder à la réception. Le charme des chambres et la gentillesse du personnel ne justifient pas des prix aussi assommants. Comptez 600 nok de plus que pour une chambre identique au Grand Hotel de la Karl Johans Gata à Oslo ! Or le Grand Hotel, luxueux sans être tapageur est aux normes d'un 5 étoiles : chasseurs, grooms,restaurant haut de gamme, salons nombreux et situation exceptionnelle. Les tarifs du Hanseatiske sont indécents. Dommage... |

The staff were very helpful The breakfasts were good. The room (one of two)was attractive.The location was great. The access to the hotel is unusually difficult. Getting luggage from the street to the lobby was difficult partially because there was so little signage for where the reception area was located and because we had to navigate around parked cars. Also, we booked two rooms and we were given two rooms on the fourth floor. These rooms are not very nice because of the lack of windows. We ended up asking to have one room changed to the third floor but wish we changed both rooms. |

location -- center of the city, close to actvities. location -- above a pizza parlor and on the main walking route to 2 loud night spots. had a street brawl outside our window one night. |

Modern facilities. Closeness to shops, transport, restaurants, waterfront. Pleasant hotel staff, the breakfasts and the ambience and quaintness of the old building. The shower was blocked and did not drain, somelses hair floated out!! |

To be in the center of Bergen in the old district. Was absolutely perfect for that requiement. An unusual heat wave hit with temperature reaching 34 degree C. No A/C in hotel was the only problem faced however all other things made up for this one inconvienence! |

Location. There was no air-condition and the room was as hot as a sauna!! We had to open up the windows BUT the pubs were so noisy downstairs preventing my whole family from able to take any rest until 3am!! This is a vacation turned into a total nightmare!! At least have the courtesy to provide a fan! And we had to check-out early to catch the "norway in a nutshell" train but breakfast was only serve from 8am onwards! We had to leave with empty stomach! So much for customer-friendliness!! There is only a staff at the reception but we were met with indifference attitude! |

Central location. Breakfast. Staff a bit indifferent - deactivated key card after one night even though we had booked two nights. Internet advertised, we assumed WiFi, but wire was required. This was not provided, and explained only on checkout. |

On finding the street, first impressions were a bit worrying but once open the front door revealed an interesting and historical building sympathetically transformed into a hotel. The bathroom was well appointed with a deep bath, shower and good towels. One could have drunk the two bottles of wine deftly left above the well stocked mini bar - but we did not. Housekeeping checks should have been more rigorous, given the class of hotel. |

Koseligt og stort tomannsrom. Supert bad. Resepsjonisten kan ikkje sitja å eta i salongen ved resepsjonen når ein skal ta imot gjester. Trådlause nettet funka ikkja. Trrenger dør ut til lager/bakrom ved heis, uten det ser det "shabby" ut. |

Een prachtig gerestaureerd gebouw uit de periode van de houten constructies. Ten andere geklasseerd onder de unesco. Een heel apart hotel met oud Scandinavisch karakter uit de Hansa-tijd, maar met echt hedendaags comfort. |

Ankom hotellet og ble godt tatt i mot i res. Grei info om hotellet ved ankomst, og selve rommet var en opplevelse. Moderende hotell i eldgamle bygninger gjør plassen til et romantisk og avslappende sted.Kan absolutt anbefales. |

El hotel está en una ubicación extraordinaria y es muy "coqueto". El desayuno es muy flojo, por el precio podrian esmerarse más. La habitación triple resulta algo pequeña. |
