Build as a part of the Hydro Røldal-Suldal power station designed by Norwegian architect Geir Grung, this design hotel is located in the village of Nesflaten. It offers original 1960s design, free Wi-Fi and rooms with views over Lake Suldalsvatnet. All guest rooms at Energihotellet have a work desk and panoramic views of the lake and Suldal Mountains. Some offer a seating area with floor to ceiling windows. The in-house restaurant serves a variety of dishes based on local ingredients. In summer, guests can enjoy the vast, scenic views from Energihotellet’s terrace. An outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and sauna are all on site. The surrounding region offers activities such as skiing, fishing and hiking. Hardangervidda National Park is a 45-minute drive away. Free private parking spaces are found next to Energihotellet. Staff was exremely helpfull in helping out when airline had managed to loose lugguage, lots of advice on local area, roads to travel and bringing a 1.5 year old girl with us was absolutely no problem. Breakfast was very nice and location, view and design are of equally superb quality. For people with an interest in design this is a must.

Albergo carino e pulito. Le camere hanno una vista incantevole. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono. Le pareti delle camere sono inconsistenti, si sente qualsiasi rumore proveniente dall'esterno della stanza.

Отель совсем не большой. Номера светлые. Необычные люстры и светильники. Заказывали дополнительно ужин - очень вкусно. Есть бассейн, правда на открытом воздухе, купаться можно только при хорошей погоде. Очень красивый вид из окна на озеро. Номера маленькие, минимум из мебели - кровати, столик и стул. Нет шкафа, вместо него вешалка. Хорошая слышимость соседей.

Fantastisk utsikt og unik 60-tallsdesign I fellesområdene. Veldig bra frokost med hjemmelaget syltetøy! Som "designhotell" var det litt skuffende at badene var helt standard. Dessuten savnet jeg noe utsmykning på rommene (F.eks bilder).

Hotel particolare anche se in realtà meno confortevole di quanto sembri. Panoramica la vista delle stanze. Personale gentile. Posizione molto isolata e difficilmente raggiungibile. Centrale elettrica con linea di alta tensione molto vicina.
