Thon Hotel Europa  

I appreciated the convenience of having computers available with printers, a very nice selection for the free breakfast, proximity to the center of town and the Metro, and the helpfulness of the front desk. Most of them spoke enough English for us to communicate well. The room was quiet and clean; the bed and pillows were comfortable. Get a double, the single is narrow.

The lighting in the room was dim. The bathroom was tiny and had no place to put toiletries; no hook on the door to hang up clothing; 2 glass glasses balanced on the tissue holder up on the wall. The room was warm and only one window opened a crack. Limited television stations. But, for the price, it was a good room. I've stayed at several other Thon hotels in Oslo and Bergen and this room was the most basic I've stayed at.

Wifi worked well. The location was OK.

We cannot control our room temperature. Hotel stuffs were all unprofessional. First, receptionists always googled when we asked information and gave us useless information. Secondly, employees in a breakfast room had no smile at all. They also used double standards. I saw some guest made sandwich and brought it out of the breakfast room. Employees did not say anything. When I tried to bring the edge of bread, they said they charged me. Thirdly, room keeping was unprofessional. No refill of liquid soap, toilet paper, tissue paper, coffee, nor tea. They did not change linens after three days because there was a stain on the same spot and pillow smelled sweat.

The rooms are clean and quite large.

Breakfast was rather disappointing. Some of the rooms are noisy.

Just what want for a hotel in a capitol. Good bed, bath and breakfast. Pleasant staff.

The free wireless internet is very good and handy. It is very close to city center, in a nice area, close to public transport, shops, restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

The price is too high for the quality you get. Breakfast is compared with other hotels not good. Only one kind of bread available, no fruit. Breakfast is untill 11, but at 9 they did not have yoghurt anymore (although they had in their fridge, but I could not get one). They charged me too much then I was told to pay for, they sorted it out, but it was a huge mess. My room was not clean, very dirty windows, not cleanded once the 5 nights I stayed. Bathroom was renoved: I had a shower: whole bathroom get wet when you shower

The price, but it's not really the hotel's fault that it's in Norway!

Centric, quite close to the metro and the central station, clean, good breakfast, free Wi-Fi.

I had a big problem with this hotel and I'm still having it. When I was checking in, the girl at the reception withdrew 2000 nok from my credit card (although the total room price was only 1520 nok), as she explained, as a garantee for if I take something from the minibar. When I was checking out, I was said that my 480 nok will be returned to my credit card. Two weeks have passed and I haven't got my money back.

Beliggenheten I forhold til kommunikasjon - flytog, bane, buss, trikk. Enkelt og bra hotell I forhold til pris. Hyggelig personale.

Trevlig personal. Bor på hotell I Europa relativt ofta och tycker att detta hotell med både personal och priser överträffade mina förväntningar

La colazione ottima, lo staff gentile e disponibile però deludente perchè nessuno parla l'italiano,il francese e lo spagnolo !! Ottima la rete wireless gratuita.

Avevo prenotato una camera bisinnes quindi pagandola di più,nn era altro che una camera normalissima pochissimo più grande di quella che avevano prenotato i miei amici ,cioè la standard ad un prezzo inferiore. Bagno scomodissimo ,nn essendoci il piatto doccia si allagava il pavimento.
