The airport bus stops next to this hotel, which is just a 5-minute walk from Bergen’s famous Fish Market. The hotel has 2 bars, 3 restaurants and 1 nightclub.

Score from 20 reviews Good
This hotel overlooks Vågen Harbour, about 320 yards from Bergen’s fish market and one mile from Bergen Central Station. It features harbor views, free Wi-Fi and a popular breakfast buffet.
Score from 140 reviews Very good
Was great for my mother and great for centre of town.
Super fish breakfast, good location.
Location, harbour view. Breakfast adequate.
Decor a bit tired, eg timber toilet seats with finish wearing through. Staff pleasant but essentially focussed on processes and systems, not guests. Heating in room uncomfortably high. Reception staff had two suggestions, both ineffective, and no interest in taking any initiative to resolve the problem.
Great location near the harbor
Night club located across from hotel. The noise of drunks lasted from midnight to 3 am. Did not get much sleep the entire stay.
The fact that when I booked for ourselves and we had another couple we were booking for and their booking was paid for by our credit card! and when leaving and their accommodatuion was to be paid for the staff member did not know what he was doing. Also the most disgusting thing was that we had paid for breakfasts but we had to leave earlier than the breakfast time we requestd that we have a takeaway breakfast and we were told that we would have to pay for it. Naturally we refused on principal. We were away for eight weeks and similar occasions arose and we were always offered breakfasts to take with us free of charge. We were not impressed.
very noisy neighborhood and beds are old and need replacing .
Excelent location and huge room. Tastefully decorated and one of the better hotels we have stayed in during our travels through Norway. Breakfast was also good, however a little chaotic when tour buses stay at the hotel.
The WiFi struggled in our 5th floor room but we managed. The hotel seems to host a number of tour groups and a bus load of people does stretch resources a little - we had an early tour of our own to get to and had to wait in a long line for breakfast at the 6.30am opening.
Location Harbour view room which was big and comfortable Clean Helpful staff
Decor a bit scruffy in the older wing of the hotel
Room. Excellent breakfasts. Free coffee in room. Comfortable beds. Close to everything
Had to log in fresh to Wi Fi "cloud" which blacked up tablet with terms and conditions.
perfect location; free coffee and water
Location great, family room good size, very clean, comfortable beds.
Usual hotel Aircon which you can't switch off but will leave you with a dry/sore throat in the morning. If its sunny outside the room will roast, no matter how high you turn the Aircon up during the daytime. Too expensive for what it is, but then its Norway.
Location excellent, harbour views lovely.
Receptionist had no smile or enthusiasm, breakfast entirely impersonal, equipment in room old fashioned, shower gel not refilled when empty, used cups taken away from room & not replaced, towels old and poor quality, no dressing gowns, not really like a 4 star hotel experience.
The hotel is well located, just next to the Bryggen historic area. The family suite was large, but the second bedroom was windowless. Good breakfast.
The car parking arrangement was shambolic. Very unclear where to go and it had very few spaces, even though the hotel website says no need to reserve.
rooms near Bryggen were quite noisy from outside traffic and people
Location was good and breakfast had a good spread.
In our toilet there was what appeared to be a smear of blood under the toilet bowl.
The bus stop facing the hotel. The large size bed. The convenient luggage room.
The small and old fashioned bathroom. The price.
Excellent location by the historic part of Bergen. Staff were friendly. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed.
Good access from hotel to main sightseeing spot, Bryggen and fish market and Froien cablecar station within 5minutes! When toilet had trouble, hotel staff called engineer to fix immidiately.
There is no hotel parking so you have to find out private parking near the hotel. But you can find out it relatively easier. You might not see good view from each window of the room.
Helpful friendly welcoming reception staff, great location, and outstanding complementary hot chocolate, very clean spacious family room. Great breakfast buffet.
WiFi weak at times, double bed way too soft.
The comfort and cleanliness of the room was great and the complimentary fruit plate a welcome treat. The energy saving features were also a plus.
Turning off the lights at night also turned off the outlet, so recharging our phone was a little tricky since we were gone all day.
Downtown, near everything in Bergen by foot.
The Parking garage is way to expensive, it should be free if staying at the hotel or at least twice cheaper!
Location was good. Cleaning staff was great and room was clean.
Tired furnishings. Common areas lacked any appeal and not at all inviting.
Location was very good although the photograph on booking.com is not the front of the hotel as implied. It is roudn the back not ont he waterfront.
Breakfast was a scrum. Too few seats at busy times and queues.
The harbour front rooms have a fabulous view over Bryggen! The breakfast is very good. A very historic setting, with atmosphere. Small intimate hotel.
No doorman to carry bags, sometimes up stairs. No cooling. No fans in rooms. No tea/coffee in rooms. Front rooms very noisy with windows open till 3am!
