Fjellro Turisthotell is situated at the foot of Sylte Mountain in Valldal, 100 metres from the Storfjord. It offers a terrace, furnished garden and free in-room Wi-Fi. All rooms have a TV and a private bathroom. Some offer fjord views. Others overlook the pretty garden, which has picnic tables, swings and a BBQ area. Kayaking and rafting can be organised on the Valldal River. More adventurous guests might enjoy mountain climbing or a glacier hike. Free parking is offered on site. Ferries depart for the UNESCO-listed Geiranger Fjord from Sylte Harbour, which is 3 minutes’ walk away. The famous serpentine mountain road, Trollstigen, is 32 km from the hotel. This hotel is located at the gate of "Kunstnerdalen" next to a lake. It offers a simple accommodation at relatively small rooms. I booked a family room and received instead two rooms that provide good value for money and a convenient accommodation for my family. The hotel offered a good breakfast at the room price.

Although basic,room was clean and spacious, with attractive decor. Cafe/restaurant on site useful after long days out. Poor value as accommodation rather basic for price, but Norwegian prices generally seem higher for a given standard. Bathroom was very small plastic self contained unit and not very appealing. Description of 'lake front' location inaccurate as hotel is 200m up a side road and Fjord is not visible!

La ubicación es muy buena si quieres visitar el Trollstigen, ya que esta muy cerca, a solo 30 km. El hotel esta muy bien, y tiene un buffet aceptable, sin ser una maravilla. Debería mejorar las duchas, se inunda todo el baño.

Buena situación, el hotel tiene el único restaurante que vimos del pueblo, personal agradable, limpian la habitación cada día, dispones de calentador de agua en la habitación junto con bolsas de té. El desayuno, si bien no es peor que la mayoría de hoteles noruegos.

El personal es amable, y está muy bien situado respecto al entorno. Es una casa típica Noruega. En el desayuno sirven productos de la zona que están muy buenos. No nos hicieron la habitación durante la estancia.

Ruhallinen sijainti, kiva pihapiiri, kohtalaisen monipuolinen aamiainen. Kun tietää mitä tilaa ja se pitää paikkansa mitä on informoitu, niin ei jää paljon tilaa valituksille :D Lyhyellä vierailulla ei tullut eteen mitään sellaista mistä en olisi pitänyt.

Lugnt och gemytligt hotell. Bra mottagande. Vi blev följda till vårt rum som låg I en annan byggnad än receptionen. Rent och fräscht . Trevligt med vattenkokaren (+ tepåsar och pulverkaffe) på rummet även om vi inte använde den. Det mesta var bra men finns väl några små "detaljer" att anmärka på. Duschen var felkonstruerad så att vattnet samlade sig I ena kanten av duschen isället för att rinnna ner I avloppet. Hade också varit bra med fler krokar I badrum så man kunde hängt upp badlakanen på. En papperskorg I rummet hade inte varit fel. Tråkigt att sängarna inte stod ihop. En extra kudde hade ökat komforten.

Absolut nimic ca hotel in sine, doar natura care-l inconjoara ne-a mai bucurat. A fost cea mai mare deceptie a vacantei noastre de o luna in Scandinavia. Este o rusine pentru cele 4 stele pe care le poarta (cred ca dintr-o mare greseala) si a pretului fabulos deoarece: "receptia" este intr-un colt al barului si trebuie sa stai la rand ca ospatarul sa aiba timp sa se ocupe si de cazare, camera a fost putin mai buna decat o baraca de santier, baia ca o cabina de tren (in plus urata si murdara), dotarile si facilitatile inexistente. Singurul avantaj al hotelului este amplasarea la cateva sute de metri de Ferryboat, de care se beneficiaza intr-un mod exagerat. Imi pare foarte rau de alegerea acestui "asa zis hotel de 4 stele".

La quiete del luogo e la sua posizione ideale sui fiordi. La stanza che ci è stata ssegnata era dotata di un minuscolo bagno, carente come confort, con un pavimento in linoleum. Il lavabo era di dimensioni lillipuziane. I materassi del letto (da quanto tempo non li rinnovano?) sono sconsigliabili a chi soffre di mal di schiena, o aspira a soffrine.
