very Expensive.price is not comparable with the comfort, even in Norway is very expensive for a vacation ...

I fully recommend this hotel. This hotel was the real ship, and I could feel like becoming a real ship man. It was really confortable, clean, and calm. Most of all, the receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful. I've never met the awesome crew before. She explained everything related the hotel, and gave me helpful advices for my remained journey of Norway. During the stay in Fjord Visjon, I was just so happy. I strongly recommend to the traveller to this region!

Fjord Visjon is a charmy boat from the 60'S. My cabin was very small but cosy. It has a friendly atmosfere and I enjoyed very much to stay there above all because the crew did their best to welcome me and assist in all respect. It was a great experience!

Because everyone is struggling to fit the luggage and theirselfs in the room there is a great atmosphere. Everyone leaves the door open at night to get some fresh air.

Too expensive for a room without window. Because you are in such a small room without ventilation it get's very hot at night.

Jan, a language student who comes from Czechoslovakia as a trainee, is a very nice person. He runs the hotel for three months instead of the owner.

This was the worst "hotel" I have ever seen in my life of 76 years. Not clean, no water in the room, no working sink. The double bed was a bunk bed. The quality of this overnight accomodation is far below of that of a youth hostel or vanderenheim and should be removed from the hotel-list of booking.com

There was no coffee on the 2nd morning and nnobody around to fix the problem

The staff was wonderful--Jan and Petra made us feel quite at home and it was a lovely welcome. The boat was fun, and very lovely, very much a working boat, but also comfortable. The rooms are small, but the bedding is very comfortable, and even my six-foot-two husband slept well here.

The location was a 30-minute walk from downtown, doable even with kids and suitcases, and there was a tram, but it is not a central location to the downtown. However, it is right next to the Science Museum! Also, the close quarters led to some friction with other guests, as our kids made some noise when we returned at midnight and several guests complained very aggressively. So not a great kid location.

I loved staying on a boat, rocked gently to sleep. Jan was super helpful and so nice. It was great to have the use of the galley. Fun place to stay!!!!

Great hotel/ship. Not sure how is it realy comfy for family but as single-men tourist i was more than pleased. Great place, mountains and sound of water behind window. And best administrators ever - Yan and Petra :)

Being a boat with the rocking and all I got excellent sleep. It was small, but comfortable and it was fun just being on a boat in a city that is traditially seafaring. It was a great experience.

I slept well and it was a novelty, being on a boat.

We were in Fjord Visjon on the 16 of June 2012. To stay in a hotel on the boat is rather interesting experience, particulary in Bergen, where are so much water around :) The hotel is little, all rooms are very small, but nice. We want to thank the staff, young guys Jan and Petra, who are very friendly, caring and considerate. Jan and Petra keep the boat and all rooms very clean and homely. Also they could quickly decide our unforeseen problems. We were glad to get acquainted.

I like so much this hotel. Their workers, Jan & Petra were fantastic hosts!

It's an absolute unique experience, well worth trying. The atmosphere on the boat is family like - simply brilliant for a short stay. We walked to the city centre and back, a 15 minute stroll.

Very small cabin, without window, without sink (according to description it should be). Not quite clean (room and bathrooms), far from city center, renovation necesarry, much too expensive for conditions and loction...

People working in the boat were friendly

The boat is far from the city centre. Also, the rooms are very small and it smells petrol in the rooms!!! Most of the equipment is not working in the boat (coffee machines, showers, toilets, etc...). This place in not up to the expectation. Strongly advicing you not to go there!!!

Staying in the boat was a very pleasant experience and we enjoyed it. Feeling like at the home. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was small but beds were comfortable, with clean linen. We arrived on early morning and we received the room immediately. Possibility to use the kitchen was the best thing. Hot water was during all our stay. The boat is rather far from old town but it was nice to walk and to explore the city.

There were no real complaints about the boat, except the environment. There was terrible rubbish dump outside the boat. And untidy at the kitchen. The hotel is for undemanding people.

What a dump. How do you justify charging 100 usd when you sleep in a tiny bunk just under the ceiling? Can't even sit up in bed. Leaking basin, no hot water in shower. I've stayed in cars more comfortable. Stay far far away unless you're like 12 or desperate as I was. Even then stay away ! Bergen needs more Hotels. This place is the worst ever, daylight robbery for all to see. What a rip-off.

The Fjord Visjon ("fv") was a great experience - not just a place to stay. Mads, the Captain was incredibly friendly and always up for a chat. The cabins were very comfortable with fresh, clean linen provided. The cabins were particularly small (but great) which facilitated interaction between fellow travelers in the common areas. We picked the FV because it was something different and it definitely added value to our time spent in Bergen.

There were no real complaints about the fv, merely observations. The room that we were allocated didn't have any locks so you had to keep your valuables with you at all times; some rooms did have locks though. The ship wasn't particularly centrally located, but it was only a 15 minute walk to the centre.
