clean and tidy
The location was really scenic, with easy access to many viewpoints (as long as you have a car). We also got a free upgrade as well, which was really nice. The host was really nice and accommodating despite us arriving late at night.
It should perhaps be noted that the extra bed provided is the kind with a sheet over the bed frame.
Location is superb. Reception staff is very friendly. They go long way to help you out. Nice Apple farm around your cabin. Very neat and clean. Enjoyed our stay here.
After 6 everything is closed in Flam. Linens are not included in price which will cost you 250 nok more for 4 adults. You need to clean room yourself else need to pay 350 NOK more. All this conditions were not known till we reach there.
A bit far from supermarket
nice cabin, close to the train station, just at the foot of mountain
you have to pay 10 NOK for 5 minutes shower, and it is not easy to go to shared toilet outside the cabin in a windy raining cold night.
Was within easy walking distance of station and waterfront to catch morning ferry. Well stocked mini supermarket close by so obtaining food was no problem. Cabin was compact, space efficient, well presented and well insulated.
Wifi was weak near the cabins but fine close to reception.
I love this hotel environment very much. Comfort dining hall, cosy room, beautiful garden, clean kitchen. All i can said is perfect.
Brilliant location, shared facilities were all very clean, cute little cabin with kitchen facilities, free wifi
The hotel gave us the room on the second floor. Hopefully we could have the room on the first floor since there were three seniors in our group. It was hard to carry the baggages to the second floor for seniors.
Clean, close to ferry. Friendly. Lots of young backpacking campers, and older RV campers.
Most little cabins have no running water, shower or bathroom. You pay NK 10 for the shower, but it works well. There are a few units with showers. You pay extra for bedding.
We are a family group of 7 (including an 8 and 10 year old) and we rented two cabins. The location is hard to beat, even if there isn't much to the city of Flam. The playground is great, and the cabins are cozy and clean. My husband and I slept in some bunk beds which reminded us of summer camp. The cabins are in the middle of a busy campground and hostel complex, but the grounds are well maintained, bathrooms clean, laundry room available, and it was nice and quiet at night. This is a great family friendly place to stay which I would highly recommend.
The cabins were very fun and unique. The ambience and view spectacular. Very clean and well maintained.
Very poor light both from windows and fixtures in the cabin. Terrible Wifi in the cabins except near the reception building. Having to mop the floor seemed a bit odd. Overall a good stay with just a few warts.
You have to pay for everything: for wi-fi, for towels, even for hot water in the shower.
It's really a nice experience for us to stay in a cabin there. View is excellent and the staffs there are helpful and kindly. We have our breakfast in the outside of our cabin and enjoy the beautiful scene everyday. A really good place to stay in Flam.
The location was lovely and so was the cabin.
It was costly for a place without running water, linens, shower, etc. We spent a lot of time and energy figuring out the camping system.
Everything about Flam, Will visit again
Everything excluding .....(see " - " )
Level of prices
Very clean, easy access, many routes to wander around
The surroundings were spectacular and the cabin very pretty.
Price a bit high for a cabin in a campsite and, as we were staying for only 1 night, the bedlinen hire was an expensive extra.
It felt like a miniature home in an extremely lively environment. So well maintained and clean! Perfect for a holiday destination... :)
The ability to cook while staying in the cabin.
The curtains did not block much of the midnight sun.
Cabin was clean and comfortable
it was way overpriced for what we got.no sheets for beds..we had to pay??? No showers..again we had to pay???? And the photo representing them is in our opinion deceiving, considering we stayed in much better hutte for less than half the cost in many parts of Norway we found the cost and the fact that the Hutte was in the middle of a camping ground a bit disappointing.another thing which we didn't like was the one week no refund policy.Of course most places offer a cancellation fee which is usually about 20-25% of the original fee and this is reasonable..but you offer no cancellation fee whatsoever? This gave us no opportunity to go elsewhere...again disappointing . All up it was a nice town to visit but overpriced compared to everywhere else we went in 3 and a half weeks of travelling around your beautiful country.
Easy to find, near the centre of flam, supermarket nearby, beautiful area, ok wifi, plenty of space to park, friendly and helpful staff
