This charming hotel has both the advantages and the drawbacks of it's age: old fashion lovely atmosphere and decoration which may surely suit a romantic evening but no phone in the room, no safe box, no TV, even not a decent shower cabin in every room. Nice if these facilities won't make the difference especially considering the stunning location of the hotel

We like mostly the location. We took a double room with 2 extra beds for 2 children and yet have space in the room. We love the atmoshphere of the hotel since it feels like an antique fency countryside hotel.

Stupenda posizione da cartolina, personale affabile e disponibile, ottima cena. Per quanto la struttura sia bella e romantica, manca l'ascensore e le camere peccano di funzionalità con bagno ricavato troppo piccolo

Отель находится в живописном месте, интересно походить по его коридорам с выставленными старинными вещами. Есть русский персонал. Ресторан работает за доп. плату с 19:00 до 21:00. В номерах есть индивидуальное отопление. Бесплатная парковка. Белье в номерах новое, как и сантехника. Третье спальное место для ребенка - раскладушка. Удачное место ночевки для путешествия Осло-Берген. Тихий, спокойный, домашний отель. При въезде на территорию отеля стоит будка с человеком, который собирает плату за проезд с туристов, посещающих обзорную площадку. Пришлось объяснять, что у нас забронирован номер, пропустил бесплатно. Отель представляет собой одиноко стоящее здание на вершине горы, других мест цивилизации нет.

Hotellet bar sterkt preg av dårlig vedlikehold på mange plan. Det syntes som hotellet har problem med driften, som gjorde seg utslag i mangel på betjening og atmosfære. Kommer ikke til å velge dette hotellet en gang til.

Die Tradition und Geschichte des Hauses kann gut "erlebt" werden! Die Aussenanlagen sind dringend zu verbessern bzw. dem Charme des Hotels anzupassen. Warum wird zur Hauptsaison nicht der Kamin angemacht?

Bellissima posizione, praticamente sopra la cascata di Voringsfossen. Stupende sale da colazione/cena, con vista sulla vallata. Camere pulite e spaziose. Parcheggio grauito davanti all'hotel. No ascensore, no tv in camera.

Likte at dere tar vare på dette historiske hotellet. Det var en flott opplevelse å bo her, og vi fikk virkelig oppleve tiden 100 år tilbake I tid. I tillegg var det en nydelig utsikt fra vårt hotellrom!!!!! Har allerede anbefalt dette hotellet til andre pga det historiske ved det og ikke minst den flotte utsikten!

понравилась атмосфера и история отеля. из окон восхитительный вид на горы. превосходная кухня. есть русскоговорящий персонал. останавливались на 2 ночи. заселиться смогли только в пять часов вечера. номер не убирался.

Fantastisk beliggenhet. Men det er utrolig at uteplassen hvor det kommer folk I hundre og kanskje tusentall hver dag både er I dårlig forfatning og dårlig sikret. Noen hjulbårer med fin singel I sorpehullene og litt ståltråd og en klypetang hadde gjort susen I første omgang. Det skulle tatt meg en tim eller to så skulle der sett mye bedre ut. Ufattelig at et så flott sted er I så dårlig forfatning. Kvaliteten på mat og kjøkkenpersonale er lavmål, desverre.
