It was a very nice-looking quaint B&B near the airport. It did a better job than I expected for an overnight near the airport place. It was great.
There was no need for us to go into Oslo because we had a late flight in and a flight out the next day. This was nice that it was near the airport and not down in Oslo.
We got in very late at night. The bus Ruter #855 to Nannestad (to Maura via Vilbermoen, runs every half hour that late at night) went from right outside the door of the airport to right in front the the Bed and Breakfast (Kneppefeltet stop). It took about 10 min.
The staff were welcoming and friendly even late at night and the next morning.
We stayed in the family room with 2 adults, and three kids ages 5, 3, and 1. They provided a baby bed, and it was already set up when we got there.
It was so warm inside! It was freezing in Oslo when we arrived and it was nice to come in to a comfy warm place. The rooms were warm and we could adjust the heater as we needed. The linens and room were very clean. It was quiet, I never heard other guests.
We woke up late the next morning after our late-night arrival, maybe 9.00, and the breakfast was still well-stocked and tasty. There was a good variety of things to eat (different fresh breads, butter and spreads, jams, fish, meats and cheese, vegetables, boiled eggs, fruits, cereal, muesli, yogurts, milk, juice, hot cocoa...cannot remember it all). My baby appreciated the high chair.
