Grand Terminus    

Looks like nothing special from the outside, but had beautiful old world decor in the common areas inside and the room was beautifully decorated and modern. Breakfast was excellent.

Hot water didn't work for one shower. Room wasn't ready at check in.

Location: 3-4 minute walk from the city bus terminal, train station, and a short taxi ride to the boat terminals. Convenient to all city attractions. Good buffet breakfast.

Expensive (as is all of Norway) by US standards.

As I was taking excursions that started at the train station I thought it would be a good idea to be as close to the station as possible. All you do have to do is walk across the street. Very helpful staff and a very nice breakfast setup as well. Seems to be a popular place judging by number of people in the lounge.

Norhing to complain about other than the weather.

Great location literally across a quiet road from the main railway station and adjacent to the bus drop off from the airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the quality of meals was good.

There's no bar or restaurant services on a Sunday, but knowing this in advance, there's many other options close by including pizza delivery to your room.

Big room. Free wifi in the room. Free fruits, pastries, tea and coffee in the bar area. Excellent location: next to the train station. Good breakfast spread.

The room is not warm enough.

The staff are very helpful, informative and friendly. The hotel is elegant and well decorated with next-to-train station location, very good for travelers to be rested after long train ride.

Grand Terminus is located right next to the railway station, in many cities that's a bad sign, but this is not the case in Bergen. We found it very practical as we were traveling by train from/back to Oslo. Terminus dates back from 1928 and has preserved its beautiful historical interior witch separates Terminus from the typical generic hotels. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The breakfast was quite boring. It offered most of the dishes you expect to find in a Norwegian hotel breakfast, but the taste was in some way absent.

The location is like next to the train station, which makes the trip so easy.

It was very comfortable and met all expectations regarding the cost, room, bathroom facilities and meals.

I cannot complain about anything.

Location is excellent for visiting Bergen, right across from station, but quiet and only 10 mins from Bryggen. Breakfast is plentiful and free all day coffee in comfortable lounge is nice bonus.

Odd setup of bathroom. Toilet too far out from wall, and bath/shower also separate from wall so water leaks all over floor. Room itself was fine, but cold air permeated through windows but closing curtains covered radiator.

A fantastic sized room, huge! Great location. Excellent breakfast selection.

Shower not to the same standard as the rest of the room!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and history of Grand Terminus. Our room was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good.

The architecture of the building,the interior design,the combination of old and new,the care taken to keep the atmosphere of the hotel, the bar, the food,the room.

Very good location, near railway station and airport bus stop. Within walking distance of the harbour and town centre. Staff friendly. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice.

Vedig hyggelig oppholdsrom nede. Fint med kaffe, te og aviser og frukt. Deilige stoler, engelsk stil. Ellers likte trappeoppgangene, gamle møbler osv. Stort og deilig frokostrom, og omsorgsfullt tillaget mat.

I liked the "Aura" of Grand Terminus. You feel history and the grandeur of former times.

I did not like the design of the fire-doors in the corridors. It totally destroys the original design.

No food available resturant and bar was closed- it was not even possible to get a cup of coffee- had to have cold pizza from the bus terminal for my Sunday dinner

Excellent location. Just 1 min walking from the Bergen Station.

This is easily the best hotel in Bergen! Fantastic breakfasts, always friendly and courteous staff, 30 seconds' walk from the railway station and three minutes' walk from the airport bus stop. And the famous Whiskey Bar! Five stars!!

Localization. It´s in front of the train station and very close of a bus stop to the airport.

Great location, big and clean room, nice breakfast.

The building is a bit old so there is a strange smell in the room when we go in. But not a big issue, we opened the window and it turned out much better.

Next to the train station, ideal stay for "hutchell trip" easy walk to the fish market, some supermarket very close, There is complementary coffee, tea, fruit and cakes all day. The buffet breakfast is just excellent: different types of fish, salami, different sausages, fruits, hot drinks etc... Very clean, good size room.

There is a sauna and gyhmn on the 7th floor. The hotel provide towels but they should give dressing guns too. If you don't take leggings, tops and swimming costumes with you, than its difficult to use the facilities. The shower has only a small glass door to separate from the bathroom, so to have a shower you have to be careful not to wet the floor all over the bathroom.
