Grand Hotel  

Excelente ubicación muy céntrica a muy corta distancia del puerto, ayuntamiento, palacio real, Karl Johans Gata (zona comercial).

Habitación pequeña en la 7ª planta con techo muy bajo, muebles viejos y desgastados, cuarto de baño con juntas rotas, baldosas agujeadas, termostato que colgaba de la pared. Habitación absolutamente indigna de un hotel de 4*. El hotel en general se ve viejo, necesitaría una reforma profunda (P. ej. Las puertas y las moquetas de los pasillos se ven muy desgastadas). Desayuno variado, pero crepes frías, no había agua caliente para el té, faltaban cubiertos en las fuentes para servirse, las camareras no retiraban los platos sucios de las mesas, en fin... Pequeños detalles inaceptables en un hotel de esta categoría.

La habitación muy ruidosa.

Excelente ubicación, lujoso, de muy buen gusto, muy cómodo, el Café donde se desayuna es imperdible, la atención del personal no pudo ser mejor. Es una muy buena elección para quien viaje a Oslo.

The whole experience of being at the Grand Hotel was fantastic. We were there over their Constitution Day and required medical help and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were friendly and helpful and were able to help with all our needs. The facilities were ideal and the location was spot on. If in Oslo again the Grand Hotel would be first choice.

Everything was excellent.

Nice room, very clean. The breakfast buffet offers a wide choice of Norwegian and international items. Wellness is very nice. Fitness is OK though not as super as the wellness.

Very limited number of power outlets in the room.

Excellent breakfast after a joyful night out on the town. Staff friendly and efficient. Bathroom design good with nice bathtub. Bed nice and comfortable with squeaky fres linen. "Superior room" good value via Booking.com.

Had to clean the bath before using it. Found a previous occupant's long black hair lurking in the corner... Unfriendly bathroom lighting was not helpful for women applying makeup. View into the interior light well of the hotel wasn't spectacular but it wasn't too horrible either.

Great classic old-school type of hotel (if you're tired of all hipster boutique hotels with Apple gadgets as their non-unique selling points).

The breakfast buffet looks much more appetizing than it actually is.

Was excellent. Only problem hotel did not have our reservation from booking.com which was not the hotels fault. Was with my daughter-we had a brilliant time and would definitely stay at the Grand Hotel again.

Excellent, friendly service. Staff totally non-patronising to a scruffy oik like me with little cash to flash! The hotel was recommended to me by the rock band that I was there to see. Well worth the money! Breakfast was incredible - fantastic choice of food. Room very comfortable - I had a fantastic slee. Beautifully clean bathroom.

I was offered a room with a street view which I took but I couldn't see a thing from the window as it was blocked by what I assume was one of the letters from the hotel sign. I wasn't really bothered about it but I guess it might annoy some people. Also the prices of the goods in the minibar and room service. I should have expected it really as I knew how expensive Norway is - but near on £20 for a sandwich? How the other half live!!! A friend bought me a drink in the bar and I filled up on the chilli nuts that were served as free bar snacks!
