Not the hotel's fault but the cruise ships that docks across from the hotel kind of ruins the quietness of the night.

The view from the room is fantastic!!! The breakfast and the dinner is superlative!! The staff is nice and helpfull The position (but you need the car!)

The room with a view. What a fantastic place. We had a nice room on the top floor with great views of the Fjord, Geiranger town, Dalsnibba mountain & Eagle Road. We were also very fortunate to see the Queen Elizabeth cruise Liner visiting, what a great place to visit. The breakfast supplied was very good.

Hotels in Norway are too expensive for what they provide

The location is excellent. It is close to Geiranger without facing the intrusive cruise ships. The view from our room was great, with the Geirangerfjord in all his majesty. Breakfast was excellent, the best we had during our trip to Norway: the buffet featured several different choices from fish to italian-style croissant. The room was very clear and comfortable. We had a great stay in the hotel

THe hotel is not cheap but offers a lot so it is worth the money.

Bathroom relative simple, Less options to walk around in the evening, not located near city of Geiranger to reach by foot.

Very basic room although quite spacious compared to the usual norwegian hotel rooms. There is no refrigirator and not a safe. Very expensive for what it offers but geirager fjord is a very popular destination so they are trying to make the best of it...

The hotel had the most amazing views of the fjord. We enjoyed the.evening buffet and breakfast. It was good to be slightly out of the town- very peaceful. An excellent hotel in an idyllic setting.

Noise from the bathroom

We have decided to to spend a little bit more money and choose a room with the sea view. And I do not regret it. It was absolutely amazing to sit on the balcony eating Norwegian strawberries and watching the ships – smaller and bigger – pass the amazing Geiranger fjord. The breakfast was great, some exotic types of fruits were offered. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I come back to Geiranger.

Easy to find, good service (arrived a bit earlier, but room was already ready, so could check in), FANTASTIC view!!! Highly recommend to book a room vith view:)

The view and location was fantastic. It is a must stay location in Norway. It is about 3 km out of town which means you either have to walk or pay for a Taxi, but believe me, it is worth it. Staying in Geiranger town itself would be a mistake as each day up to 5 Cruse ships ancor at Geiranger and the town gets flooded with tourists and Diesal fumes from the ships. Yuk. (So strong were the fumes one day that my etes burnt and watered so much we had to leave.) This hotel is far enough away to not be affected by all this.

It is located about 1.5km from Geiranger along a good main road which is ok to walk along, but not exactly enjoyable (we used our hire-car every time - parking in Geiranger is easy early and late in the day but not in the middle of the day). The elevated location in the fjord affords magnificent views from the balconies (most rooms have balconies) and the location away from the town itself is, in our view, an advantage. Food was buffet-style, but the choice was excellent and the restaurant spacious.

Location is a mixed blessing - see above.

I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. Price is reasonable. Location is the best what is possible imagin. Food is very tasty. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is really good choice!

Breakfast was awesome and staff in the restaurant was smiling. They offered free coffee and tea. We took a bus and could got off just in front of the hotel which was so convenient.

It's a little bit far from city center. We needed to walk for about 25 minutes to the center.

Great view from balcony.

The room we had was beyond anything we expected. The views over the fjord was unbelieveable. The unexpected coffee available at any time was a real treat. There is nothing about this hotel we didn't like. We expresses thie many times to the staff.
