The view of the fjord is amazing if you request a fjord view room. Just spectacular I don't believe any of the rooms have beds together, so my husband and I were on opposite sides of the room. It was quite basic, but comfortable.

Position next to Fjord, and views from the front. Staff friendly and accommodating. Being able to pack a picnic lunch from the breakfast assortment for 65 Krona which is good value The proximity to the Aegir micro-brewery pub. Expensive beer but the food and beer are magnificent. Flam is wonderful until swamped by international tourists from the Fjord cruise ships (one arrives every day). The atmosphere immediately changes from laid back to crowded, bustling and harried. Obviously that's not Heimly's fault and they are in fact an oasis from the tourists being a short walk around the dock away from the port. So if you have already decided to go to Flam then disregard this criticism.

The staff was excellent, went above and beyond to help us out! The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the fjord views are amazing!

Beautiful View of the fiords. The restaurant at Flam Marina serves excellent food. Room is very comfortable. Tax - free shopping at Flam is great. Lots of short tours available but need to book early. Parking is rather limited and need to take short flight of stairs to reception. It would be good to have a ramp for travellers with luggage.

Nice place with friendly staff! Location - 5 minutes and 200 meters from the Flam railway station and the harbor. Room size was okay for us, it was clean with comfortable beds. Window view was great! Free WiFi worked fine. Breakfast although quite modest provided everything we needed for a good start of the day. Very thin walls - every sound was coming through with no attenuation! We were lucky not to have noisy neighbors, but every movement, every water drop was heard very clearly.

Perfectly located with fjords view. Excellent view of the fjords from the room. Friendly staff. Close to the flam railway. The sign board to the hotel was very misleading, and we wasted sometime searching for the hotel though it was'nt too far away.

room is consider with basic facilities. simple breakfast. Really nice view from our room window. a short walking distance from train station.

The room had a stunning view out into the fjord. The room took a while to heat up - could be quite cold further into the winter.

I have stayed in this hotel twice. And always I enjoyed the stay because I have got the room facing the fjord. Especially my Mom and wife enjoyed the stay. No proper restaurant in this hotel. But I really liked the breakfast

View from the window down the fjord was amazing. The breakfast was also very good A few more signs on how to get there would help after a long days travelling - but there are only a few hotels in Flam, so not too bad.

The woman on duty at the front desk did an immense amount of research to help us get to see the Borgund Stave Church. She also fixed hot water for tea in the evening. Made the whole short experience there friendly and homey. thank you!

After we requested a room change to the top level we had a great view over the fjord. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Like the rest of Norway, we found it quite pricey.
