Herangtunet Hotel  

Det fungerede godt, at vores to rum hang sammen med et fælles badeværelse. God morgenmad og hyggelig atmosfære.

Det lå for isoleret, og om vinteren (i uge 7) sker der for lidt på hotellet.

A four star hotel is an overstatement. An upper-end B&B more correct.

Everything: the friendly staff, the spacious and uniquely styled room, the cleanliness, the fine breakfasts and dinners that have been served, the comfort and the quietness.

Nothing to complain, everything was even more than we expected.

The care and enthusiasm of the owners in the way they had decorated and cared for their visitors was the best feature of this hotel. The many little touches were a delight from the individually styled bedrooms to the fur throws on the porch seats. The location is fairly remote so it is well worth booking dinner at the hotel, and this proved to be good value and enjoyable.

Fantastic welcome with a personalised email before we arrived and a genuine warm and friendly greeting when we did. Marco and Marie-José have a fabulous hotel all designed and built by themselves and their attention to details really shines through. The property is located in a beautiful forest in a lovely part of Norway, only 3 hours from Oslo - definitely worth a visit!

Spectacular concept & execution. A unique addition to Norwegian hotels.

We enjoyed our stay very, very much. Dinners were excellent, the hosts were bery gracious, lovely decor and surroundings.

We stumbled on the Hernagtunet quite by chance and we are very glad we did! The setting is idyllic amongst the trees at the start of a scenic hiking trail and surrounded by wonderful fields of wild blueberrries all ripening while we were there. The small dining room and reception were superb. At dinner the rough hewn tables were elegantly set with silver and china that gleamed in the candle light. The dinner was superb accompanied by a wonderful wine, making for a delightful and relaxing end to the day.Thankfully there are no televisions in the rooms but a small radio to play music would be nice.

We arrived wet and chilled after having rode by motorbike in the rain. Marco, the owner of the hotel, greeted us warmly and took us upstairs immediately to our beautiful room (the Icelandic Room) so that I could get into a hot bath. His manners were impeccable and to our delight, he spoke in Dutch and Norwegian as well as English. Our dinner? A gastronomic delight! The meal was not only a vision to look at but a scrumptious enjoyment of the senses as well. Homemade strawberry sorbet finished our salmon meal. The atmosphere of this wonderful hotel was so inspiring, especially with the forest outside. What a gorgeous room we stayed in! I will never forget this treasure we stayed at overnight and will most certainly return to it in our future travels.

Good service and very nice experience.

Kurzurlaub mit der Familie. Supernette, familiäre Stimmung im Hotel. Sehr nett eingerichtet. Preisniveau im oberen Bereich, aber das ist wohl in Norwegen normal. Die Zimmer sind etwas kleiner als erwartet, geschickt fotografiert... ;-) Jeden Abend das Drei-Gänge-Menü, selbst zubereitet von den Gastgebern, ist unübertroffen. Im Winter braucht man sicher ein wintertaugliches Auto, das auch mal Temp. unter -20 Grad toleriert... ;-) Andernfalls ist der Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit mit seinem Landrover zur Stelle. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt!

Симпатичные деревянные домики на полянке в сосновом лесу, этакая "турбаза по-норвежски". Номера оформлены с большой любовью и старанием, каждый в своем стиле. Гостеприимные и заботливые хозяева. Семейная атмосфера. Парковка. Сравнительно адекватная цена. Мы останавливались на одну ночь при переезде из Алесунда в Осло, выбрали голландский интерьер, в большой степени чтобы быть уверенными, что в комнате есть свой санузел, т.к. он был виден на фотографии (мы так поняли что в каких-то номерах нет своей ванной комнаты) - номер очень красивый.

Раздельные краны для холодной и горячей воды создают небольшие неудобства, но :-) искусство дизайна требует жертв, поэтому мы абсолютно не в претензии.
