Lavik Fjord Hotell  

Lovely Dutch couple run the hotel and make every effort to welcome their guests.

Unfortunately the hotel is right on the harbor where construction of new ferry docks goes on nonstop from 7 am to after 9 pm including a pile driver pounding every 5 seconds. This will reportedly go on for another 1 1/2 years!

Clean, good standard, beatiful landscape, polite staff

The hotel is very simple but very nice. The view is fantastic and rooms are confortable and clean. Good breakfast and dinner (apple pie is fantastic!) The staff is helpfull

Beautiful setting on the fjord. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. As Noway goes, this was a bargain price.

Friendly an d helpful Staff, nice setting . Room Nr. 1 was really Nr. 1, with a premium view on the fjord! Breakfast and Dinner good. We recommend this hotel.

Nice location, direct on water side with nice view on fjord and ferry; nice and spacious room with comfortable bathroom (suite), and a spacious dinner room; friendly terrace garden outside; friendly and informal atmosphere.

Little choice in menu; good but less extensive breakfast (no fish).

We stayed in a beautiful room with a patio and a fantastic view of the fjord. The hotel is family owned and run, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. They provided home-cooked suppers which were well prepared and tasty, but quite simple. The breakfast buffet was ample, and included in the price of the room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

What a lovely place to stay, the very large window offer a wonderful vue on the fjord and on the ferries port. So calm and peaceful, even the ferries are not a problem, it's just an entire part of the area! The owners are just amazingly kind and professionnal, we feel in full condidence and like "at home". The breakast is perfect, a lot of choice, ideal for foreigners and a lot of local foods to taste ! We will come back for sure! Alice and Fred

Jeg kjøtre lang veg og det var fint at overnatta. Rent og personelig. Neste morgen kjørte jeg videre 6 timer

Utrolig imøtekommende og hyggelig personal. Vi hadde med oss to hunder og vi fikk da et ekstra stort rom uten ekstra betaling slik at hundene kunne bli med inn. Frokosten ble servert når vi ønsket det. Flott hotell som vi anbefaler til alle.

זהו מלון בוטיק במלוא המשמעות האמיתית של המונח. מושקע בטעם ,מודרני , מיקום מעולה על הפיורד ליד המעבורת . ארוחת ערב מעולה לפי הזמנתנו וארוחה בוקר מגוונת. שהינו במקום לילה אחד בלבד אך המקום ובעליו (זוג הולנדי שעזב את אינדהובן ורכש מקום ישן בו השקיע את המיטב) השאירו עלינו רושם רב הן מבחינת המקום שהקימו היחס לאורחים המעטים המזון וכמובן המיקום המקסים. בקיצור Lavik אינו כפר המצדיק הגעה אליו במיוחד אך אם אתה בסביבה זה בהחלט המקום לבלות ערב ולילה.

Accueil très chaleureux, emplacement relativement isolé dans un village faisant surtout office d'embarcadère pour le ferry mais hôtel vraiment charmant pour notre courte halte (1 nuit). Restaurant: excellent et avec un très bon rapport qualité prix (rare pour la Norvège). Décoration bien soignée. Pour nous une très bonne adresse!

Die Umgebung und der Blick auf den Fjord hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und der Chef spricht deutsch.

Leuke ontvangst door nederlands echtpaar. Heerlijke kamer met prachtig uitzicht. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd evenals het avondeten. Hoteleigenaar kan je goed adviseren voor dagvullende programma's. Kortom, jammer dat we er maar voor 1 nacht waren!
